Love of tomorrow

October 14 1:30pm

Finally, it was the end of the day. I looked at my watch. 1:30. "How fucking long is this day!" I mumbled. Ms. Jones heard me but said nothing. I'm sure she is still in disbelief. Why the loner, the loser, Katherine fucking Miller! Get Bella Carter to model for her! No one believes me. Great. I look over at the door as there is a rumble in the hallway. 8th graders tumble down the hallway just to get out of the front door. 

Then, a hand grabs the door handle just out of sight of the tiny window. The door handle shakes then slowly opens trying to avoid the 8th graders running down the hall. And out of thin air, like a miracle, Bella Carter walks through the door ." Is Katherine Miller here? I know I am a little early. I was finished with all of my other classes." She scans the room, which is in disbelief, and we lock eyes as she walks over and sits down right next to me. " I thought you weren't going to make it! I'm glad you did." I whispered.

"I told you I would and I don't break promises."

Bella and I go out of the front doors eager to start. I can't tell if I'm zoned out, but I can't seem to focus.

"Katherine?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay you seem sick?"

"yes sorry, I just got dizzy"

Bella gives me a look but says nothing.

"Hey Bella, I have to grab one of my lenses from my house. I'll meet you at the lake okay?"

"yeah no problem"

Bella walks away as I get on my phone telling my brother why I am coming home early he hangs up and right as Bella is out of view, I get dizzy again but this time I can barely stand. The world starts spinning like it's never going to stop. The world is in slow motion. I can't breathe, My lungs feel like they have collapsed. Hyperventilating, I...I h-ave to call for help. "B-ell.." I can barely get the word out before... I blackout.

When I wake up all I see is a bright light and I am moving fast. I look over and I see Bella running with me. I look down and she is holding my hand ¨It will be okay, I promise¨ I close my eyes in excruciating pain with a groan, succumbing into the darkness.
