"Forgive me for this sin!"

His trembling voice echoed in a whisper as he caged you in his arms tightly. Your heart sinking deep to the core, pounding wildly like it would break out of your ribs.

Your eyes tightly shut, too scared to open and find the engulfing darkness.

So many moments slipped by just like that. Him melting in your arms, sobbing silently while hiding his face in the crook of your neck. Your body, stiff from the fear of being stabbed any moment. But nothing happened. Neither the scene changed into darkness, nor did he stab your back.

Everything remained the same. The green hills, the carpet of dewy grass under your feet, the crystal clear lake beside which you two stood, the pink sunshine, the soft breeze, everything was still as beautiful and mesmerizing as it was before. What didn't match was his sobs and trembling whispers.

"I- I still love you Sugar!"

And your eyes flashed open. You sat straight, breathing heavily. The same dream you saw often. You had become habituated to it now. But this was different from the others. The end, it was totally different. And that different end scared you even more. You knew he would be regretting his mistakes. But you didn't have a whim he was burning every minute in the flames of remorse.

Wiping the sweat off your forehead, you turned to the side table for a glass of water when your glance fell on Mona sleeping. A small smile spread on your lips at the sight of her seeming to be like a fluffy cotton ball. You caressed her cheeks. Her burning skin made you gasp in shock. She had a temperature.

You went to the bathroom and brought the medicine box. Your heart sank deep to the core when you checked her temperature and the thermometer showed hundred degrees. You immediately called the children specialist with whom you did the treatments of Mona.

"Bring her by 08:00 sharp as my clinic opens that time. Till then, place a cool wet towel on her forehead and cheeks and keep replacing it. Remember, only forehead and cheeks."

You acted upon her guidance and did the same. Her temperature went a little down as you continued placing the towel along with giving her a feeder too. But you couldn't sit relieved on it. She absolutely needed a visit to the clinic.

You sat straight at the thought. To take her to the clinic you had to take a leave from the office. This thought made you pick up your phone again and dial your colleague's number.

As soon as she heard about your leave, she overruled your request.

"No way Y/N. We're having a meeting with a Malaysian party today, and you're taking a leave? Boss will never grant it."

"But I have to. My daughter is burning in fever. I need to be with her."
You said, rubbing your forehead, "Just tell him what I told you. If he says anything, I'll handle it."

"Okay, I hope he grants you the leave. Bye." She, drawing out a sigh, said.

"Thanks, bye."

You hung up the call and again turned your attention to Mona.

Seokjin was standing in front of the mirror, rubbing his hair with a towel when he heard a knock on the door of his suite.
