Ch#28: Blue Lies

"If you can use your force on me then I can use my force on you too."

The words of hers were echoing in his mind as he watched her through the glass door of ICU. She was given a stomach wash before her proper treatment. The amount of alcohol she had taken was dangerous for her in this condition.

He sat on the bench and leaned his head against the wall with eyes closed. The scene of her being hit by the car flashed in his mind again and again like a nightmare. Her repeating his name even in her unconscious shook him to the soul. He immediately opened his eyes.

He stood up and entered the ICU. Standing beside her bed, he watched her. He watched her for God knows how long.

He never wanted this to happen, not even in his dream. He was responsible for dragging her to this condition.
What if tonight she would lose her life? Would he be able to eye himself? Would he ever forgive himself? To whom would he explain it was just a joke? Him being angry with her was just a joke. Such a cheap joke! What a hideous repercussion of his joke!

She was given a rest of ten hours and in those ten hours, he stood beside her bed like a statue, watching her constantly. Waiting for her to open her eyes. The rest of the friends had left to home. Luna insisted hard to stay here but he sent her home saying that he was there for her. And if there was a need of anything, by chance, then he would inform them.

A feeling hit him like her eyelashes quivered. The next second, she opened her eyes slowly. He leaned at her with a speed faster than the flash of light.

"Sugar..."

She looked at him with half open eyes.

"I...I'm s_sorry.." His voiced trembled.
She looked in his eyes. A fear gleamed in those tears. Fear of losing her.

"It's okay, Minnie.." She smiled slightly, lifting her hand a little to hold his hand.
Entwining his fingers with hers, he gripped her hand tightly..and sat beside her.

"Scared??"
Her voice rose like a whisper in his ears.

"No."
He looked at her.

"Dead.

Without you."

Pasting a soft kiss on the back of her hand, he put her hand on his chest, at the place of heart. And she felt his heart pounding like it would break out of ribs.

"Don't you know you live in my soul?"

And she closed her eyes in content at his confession.

"I know."
Her voice had become a little raspy but still, her voice was the most melodious song for him.

At the meantime the door of private room opened and a female nurse showed up. As she saw Y/N awake, she said.

"Oh, You've come to senses. Let me inform the doctor." And left, just the way she came.

After checking Y/n's nerves, and heartbeat, and the flow of the drip and everything, the doctor turned to him and spoke up.

"I would like you to see me in my cabin."

"I'll be right back." Said he to her, and kissed her frons.

Both him and the doctor left, leaving her alone in the ward.

"Please doctor, she'll be taken with best care just the way you are telling me. I can't leave her here for a whole month."
Jimin insisted, totally disagreeing with the doctor to keep her at hospital.
