"What would you say in your clearance, Miss Han Y/N?"

The heavy voice of the judge echoed in the court room, requiring for a last response to adjourn the case. But you felt your throat burning with the flames of the pain receiving from the person you loved the most once.

Your eyes glued on Jimin's face who sat opposite to your handrail, a victorious smirk plastered on his lips. All his 'proofs' against you were accepted by the court.

He didn't put any false accusation on you to be retarded or drunkard or any other thing. But he chose very sensitive excuses for his mission. His claim that you were homeless was true, his claim that you were jobless was also true. His claim that the child wasn't yet registered with his father's name and needed to be done also had volume.

You couldn't even claim about your old house because those documents were also with Jimin. He didn't leave you with a single option.

You didn't resist any of the claims, but never in your entire life had you imagined that he would cross all the limits of selfishness, that he would use that reason as a tool which made you sit at home jobless. Presenting the argument between you and Mr Lee Daejung as an excuse for not being able to upbringing your child, he showed that nothing mattered in his eyes save for his own ego.

"Your honour," You said with a burning throat, "it is an accuse on me. I didn't misbehave with Mr Lee. Instead..."

You paused, collecting the guts to speak the fact in front of the people that made you bury alive before, and now was the second time.

"Instead...Mr Lee had called my daughter illegal and fatherless which enraged me and I quit his service in exasperation. I can bear anything but that insult."

"All right, Miss Han Y/N. We accept it. But you must admit that you yourself quit the job and now you are jobless. And nobody knows when you are going have another one. Which means you won't be able to bear the girl's expenses neither can you provide her a shelter as you don't have any for yourself too."

The prosecutor spoke up, on which you turned your head towards him.

"What would you say about that?"

You felt like your mouth got zipped. It seemed like you were left in a maze, the door of which opened toward Jimin. You weren't left with a single choice. You closed your eyes tightly, lowering your head in dismay. Gulping hard, you opened your mouth to tell him your decision.

"If Mr Park Jimin keeps the baby, he must allow me to see her once in a week. And I will be allowed to take her with me to my friend's house as I'm currently settled there."

The prosecutor turned to the judge and spoke with a loud voice.

"Your honour, the matter is clear. Miss Han has given her decision according to which the child goes in the custody of her father Mr Park Jimin. We don't have any objections on the compromise, I'm sure no one else here has any, either."

The grip of your hand on your skirt tightened. Never had you felt so defeated and broken like now you were. Despite trying to hold back your tears, your eyes disobeyed you.

"No, wait. I have an objection."

A silvery voice echoing in the room made you lift your head up and find a hyped Seokjin standing in the entrance.

"Miss Han Y/N will not give her daughter in Jimin's custody as she isn't jobless or homeless anymore."

He came forward and, handing the documents to the court officials, said.
