Why?

Why did just you always become the target of the fate's oppression?

Why didn't those scars name to heal despite your thousand attempts?

Hitting your back against the wall of empty elevator, you covered your mouth with hand to throttle the sobs. Your eyes started burning with the gloss of agony. The thing you were afraid of the most, was happened. Still unable to believe in your eyes for seeing him standing in front of you, you shook your head.

"No, it can't be," You mumbled, "it can't be."
You knew that once he got a single sign for an approach to you, he would definitely reach to you. And you didn't want that, never.

You wiped the tears rolling down your cheeks and checked the number on the board. The elevator was going down to the ground floor again. Praying in your heart to not see him again anywhere in the mall, you closed your eyes and with a pounding heart, you waited for the ground floor to arrive.

Once the elevator stopped and the doors opened, you rushed out of the lift like a bullet shot from a gun. Seokjin and Luna were still there where you left them. Busy in their tattle, they didn't notice you pacing towards them. It's when you reached to them, they got startled.

"What happened, Y/N?"
Both of them asked in unison as they saw you hyped.

"I need to go back."
You said, taking Mona from Seokjin's arms. His brows furrowed as he noticed your swollen eyelids.

"Is everything okay? Tell me."
At his inquiry, you nodded shortly.

"Just drop me back to home."

You replied and hushed Mona who had become a little restless at the sudden change of embrace. The anxiousness on your face alarmed them.

"At least tell us what happened?" Said Luna worriedly.

"Can't tell right now. Please let's go. Or if you guys don't wanna go back, then I'll go by myself. I can't stay here anymore."

Saying this, you turned to go when Seokjin hurriedly came forward and spoke up.

"Okay okay. Don't worry, let's go."

"But we'd planned to go to the amusement park too." Luna whined like a child, dragging her feet behind you and Seokjin. You turned to Luna and said.

"I'm sorry for that. But I can't stay here even for a second. You can go to the park with Seokjin. I'll take a cab."

"No, Y/N. If you're not coming along, then we'll also not go anywhere. Come on let's go back."

Seokjin shook his head. His tone was a little downcast which made you feel guilty. But you were not ready to face the consequences of staying out. Luna's face changed colors for a second at Seokjin's words but she kept quiet.

Cancelling every plan, all of you settled in Seokjin's car and started to drive back home.

"Now tell us. What happened? Why are you pale and flabbergasted?"
Examining your overanxious state, Luna couldn't help but ask the main reason.

And in the answer, you explained how you came across Jimin on the second floor.

"What? How is it even possible? I mean I met him yesterday and from his behavior, it didn't seem like he knew anything about you living here." Seokjin, looking at you from the back view mirror, expressed his quandary while also focusing on the drive.

"But yes, he was eager to know where I would go today."

"He did know about me." You replied, leaving him dive into wonderment even more, and told him about the phone call incident a few days ago and expressed your doubts about it.
