Ch#29: "Promise"

He looked at Yoongi and then at the blue file with puzzled eyes.

Yoongi came to him and handed him over the file.

"At first I thought to open it and check it out but then I thought it's illegal for us to explore what doesn't belong to us, right?"

Jimin heard him with a pounding heart. Even he did not know why his heart was trembling like a dried leaf. Cold beads of sweat appeared on his forehead as he opened the file. But then, a thought flashed in his head like lightning.

"Ah! Maybe they are the documents of Y/N's car.."

And immediately after, picked up a pen from his black leather jacket's inner pocket, and started signing the papers, one after another.

"Y/N's car?? As far as I know, Y/N doesn't have any car?!?!"
A wrinkle appeared on Yoongi's forehead as he looked at Jimin with Interrogating eyes.

"Yeah hyung, actually I'm thinking to give her a surprise in a couple of weeks, plus, gifting her a zero meter Chevrolet. And the meeting with the dealer was going to be held a few days ago but I'm here, busy with Y/N, so... yeah!"

Explained Jimin, while signing the documents without giving a single glance at, and as soon as he did so, he handed the file to his servant and gestured him to leave from there.

Yoongi very clearly noticed each and every move of him but kept that inquiry for some other time, and asked...

"What surprise??"

"You'll know by the time, and don't worry, it's nothing harmful."
Said Jimin, passing a soft grin to Yoongi.

"Oh! It's fine then...I wondered if there's any serious matter."
Yoongi replied with a slight smile. Jimin returned him the same smirk and said..

"Yeah, let's go inside, they must be waiting for us.."

And took him inside the hall. Once they got in there, Yoongi headed towards the elder ones and Jimin stood there running his eyes all around the hall in search of Y/N but she was nowhere in the hall.

It was all above my head. How could he be so good to any girl?? That care, that love, all was strange for me. Okay, I know my buddy, all he needs is a bit of love and in return he's all yours. But once he's determined for revenge, love is the best weapon he uses to destroy you.

And that's exactly what was bothering me now. If it wasn't y/n, I might not care a single bit. But it's not like I'd started rooting for her or what, she's so innocent and pure about his love that it melted my heart everytime I sat with her and she sang the songs of his love. She had gone so far in his love that if I swore to God a million times in front of her to show her his real face, she wouldn't believe me.

Even then, even then I thought to give it a try, to tell her everything. And this was the best opportunity for me when I saw him exiting the hall with his servant. I saw y/n sitting on the sofa with Luna. I at once rushed to y/n and grabbing her by wrist, I took her out of the hall, the side of swimming pool.

She was so surprised by me doing strange stuff.

"What the heck is wrong Tae?? Why are you being like this?? What's the matter??"
She was continuously questioning me while being dragged along. Once we came out of hall, I stopped by the pool and so did she.

"Listen, I can explain everything. Just gimme some minutes with you."
With my statement, her brows knitted together.

"That's exactly what I'm asking, Tae. Tell me."
She said. And I loosened my tie knot to gulp the lump of saliva down my dry throat. I felt like I had been running a marathon. My heart started pounding inside my chest. She was not ready for this. Gosh!
