Lyla's POV

I was sitting down at this restaurant called "Angie's". I ate and just keep scrolling through pics of me and Hendrix. Deleting them one by one. Some I saved.

As I was scrolling through my camera roll someone sat at the seat in front of me. I look up only to see Hendrix.

Hendrix- Look, you don't have to talk. just listen. I love you, with all my heart, and I know I was wrong for what I did. I think you deserve better, so I think we need to break up.

I burst out laughing and everyone practically broke their necks to see what was going on.

Lyla- You think we were still together?! Hahahahahahahah!!!!!! (Continues to laugh and embarrass Hendrix.) baby boy, I'm done with you and I don't care. Go back to your lil tramp. And to think, I actually felt bad about going out to Broadway with your cousin Joey. I hope you find the right one because I won't be coming back. (stands up with glass of water.) To a new life. Cheers! (Pours water over his head. leaves.)

Hendrix POV

Lyla- to a new life. Cheers!

She pours the glass of water over my head and my hair instantly gets drenched. My foreign curls were messed up!

She left the restaurant. Wveryone was starring at me. A waitress came over to me and lint me a towel. I wiped my hair and dusted off my shirt. I left the restaurant and met up with Linderman.

Linderman's Office

I walked in, he looked up at me from his desk and looked back down at his papers.

Linderman- Hendrix, what's has brought you to my office?
Hendrix- It's Lyla! Do you see what she did to my hair and my shirt!
Linderman- I noticed but I really didn't want to know, but since you have brought it to my attention what's happened?
Hendrix- I broke up with her nicely and she didn't take it too well.

Linderman- well that's women for you.
Hendrix- I mean it really wasn't that big of a deal.
Linderman- why did you break up with her?
Hendrix- I caught feelings for someone else.
Linderman- (looks up at Hendrix) Oh, really? And who might this be?
Hendrix- one of the students from Bridgland, Teree.

Linderman- I thought you were in love with Ms. Matthews?
Hendrix- yeah, but that was until I met Teree. God she's amazing.
Linderman- excuse me if I say this but I don't think Ms.Matthews would have reacted that way unless there was something else un mentioned?

Hendrix- ok, so I didn't quite break up with Lyla yet. She walked in on me and Teree kissing.
Linderman- now I understand.
Hendrix- I was going to tell her when she got back.
Linderman- That's where you messed up.
Hendrix- I know, and yeah I felt bad. Maybe for a tiny moment but now I just want a girl who won't bring me drama and someone that is new and fresh. Lyla was just getting old.
Linderman's- if it's one thing I know about you. Nothing gets old especially not girls. to you so what's really going on?
Hendrix- I'm fine.
Linderman- whatever you say. oh and when I say this name I want you to leave my room immediately. Ok?
Hendrix-Ooookay? (Awkwardly)
Linderman- Maxine Hanover.

I immediatelyeave his office because I remember Maxine. She was one of the academy's best dancers and then she fell off the face of the earth last year.

She was also my first love.

Why would he say that? I left and went back to my dorm. There was a note on my bed from Teree.

"Meet me in the back of the dance studio. ~ Ree"

Why would she want to meet me there. all it is dancers throwing their chances away.
I went to the back of the hip hop dance studio and I saw her with a couple other guys and maybe a couple girls.

Teree~ Bae! You made it!
(Kissed)
Hendrix- so what's going on.
Teree- me meet here everyday since we got here
Hendrix- and do what?
Teree- get stoned, get drunk, damage property.
Guy#1- Ree!
Teree- what he's one of us?! Right?

She looked at me in my eyes and I didn't know what to say at first. I was still trying to take in what was going on.

Hendrix- Sure.
Teree- (kisses Hendrix) Thats what I like to hear.

They were all drinking and smoking. I wasn't really paying attention because I was thinking about my choices.

Think I chose the wrong girl, because Lyla helped me get a future while Teree is trying to have me throw it away.

I just bru out a question that makes everyone go quiet. Kind of cut them off.

Hendrix- what happens when you take the drug test?!
(Awkward Silence)
Teree- Hendrix!
Hendrix- I just want to know.

Girl#2- Our boy Johnny here has a method of suppressing the weed and drugs out of our system.
Hendrix- Oh,ok.

Next thing I know Teree passes me the joint. Some were staring to stare at me. Was I going to take it? Would I just pass it?

I came an inch close to grabbing the blunt and then I just got up and left.

I ran basically, I had to get out of there before the smell got on my clothes. It smelt like Pot and liquor.

Teree- Hendrix?!

I ran into the studio. That was the closest place. Teree ran into the studio right after me.

Teree- what the h*** was that?!
Hendrix- I'm sorry but I didn't know you hung with that type of crowd.
Teree- you haven't even given them a chance! Why are you judging?!
Hendrix- Maybe Because they are throwing their lives away.
Teree- I'm throwing my life away?

Hendrix- (sighs) they're only going to drag you down with them.
Teree- oh really?
Hendrix- why do you hang out with them?!
Teree- why is it such a big deal?!
Hendrix- because I don't want negative people around me. The people that make my circle only make me better because I surround myself with winners.(cough cough @obey_dario😉)

Teree- and I'm not one of them?
Hendrix- (sighs) Me or them?
Teree- really?
Hendrix- yes.
Teree- (sighs) You know I really thought maybe you could overlook this small part of my life. (Kisses Hendrix on his cheek) Goodbye Drix.

She walks out of that door and I was kind of disappointed. She seemed so right. Think I did chose the wrong girl.

Lyla was right when she asked "was she worth it?". I need some time to myself and think.
