Talia's POV

I as accepted to the academy because of my skills. I am not most girls, I know failure is inevitable but neither is success. I don't ask for trouble it just comes to me.

Like when I saw Lyla from the 718 I instantly just reacted. My boyfriend at the time DeMarco ruled the Three3 Six6 Mafia. We weren't just thugs, we were dancers.

Demarco didn't like losing. to anybody. Demarco also had an anger problem. I remembered it like it was yesterday.

He, he hit me. Back slapped me and I fell on the floor. I got up and held my face, for I started to leave.

Talia- We're done!
DeMarco- No, no baby please. We need you!
Talia- Find someone else. I don't hang with Losers.
DeMarco- what did you say?
Talia- I don't hang with losers.

I said that and he swung on me in the face. I fell down on the ground again. I sat up crawling backward and he got in his knees and said " Baby, baby! Listen to me. I need help. This anger it's getting the best of me. you know I would never hurt you.

I was so stupid I believed him. But DeMarco did get help. He was getting better. That was until the night we lost the competition. He told the 718 that if he ever saw them again he would kill one of them.

He saw Lyla. He drew his gun but some younger boy jumped infront of the bullets for her. I tried to stop DeMarco but he said if I did we were over an I was so naive I fell in love him.

3 days later DeMarco went out to his anger management class that I got one of his friends to persuade him to go to. I was at home watching tv and I got a phone call from Nico. Nico was DeMarco's main mans and he was just so serious.

Nico- Hello.
Talia- Nico? Wassup?
Nico- Tal, I gotta tell you something and your not going to like. Im straight serious right now.
Talia- What happened?!
Nico- It's Marco.......
Talia- What happened to Marco?!!!
Nico- he's dead. He got into a car accident and his car flipped all the way over crashing into a pole.

I instantly hung up and broke down in tears. I guess you could say I was in my feelings for about 2-3 weeks. I just..........i needed time to think. When I saw his car, it wa just so horrible. all folded and bent up. I looked at the side of the car near the wheels and there was a sign. It was the sign of the 718 crew. Next to it, it said Vendetta

Ever since I've waiting for a fight with Lyla because I know she did it. So now, that B**** is gonna pay!

Present Day
In the Bathroom

Talia- Hey Lyla.(Ignores)So your gonna ignore me?
Lyla- Look, I don't want any drama, we leave that in the past.
Talia- Oh really? Seems like you couldn't leave what happened to Mikey in the past.
Lyla- What are you talking about?
Talia- don't play dumb. Thing about it is your not playing.
Lyla- look, lets just leave it in the past. I don't want to go there.
Talia- you killed DeMarco! I saw the vendetta sign!
Lyla- i didnt kill him!
Talia- for once in your life stop LYING!

I pushed her into the wall. she inhaled the air, rolled her eyes and then exhaled. she tried to leave so I pushed her back again.

Talia- FIGHT ME!
Lyla- Shouldn't have done that.

Narrator's POV

Lyla runs up to Talia an punches her in the face. Talia and Lyla just keep throwing punches and Talia fail back on the ground. Lyla was on top of Talia giving her them hands. Talia pushes Lyla off the get up start going at it. Lyla punches Talia and clocked her face. Talia's nose started t bleed. then Talia came back, grabbed Lyla by her hair, an held her down in the floor punching her face. Lyla's mouth gets busted and bleeds.Lyla grabbed Talia by her legs so Talia falls on floor. They kept going at it; Trina and Amber walked in and broke up the fight. Amber held back Lyla and Trina held back Talia.

Trina- What the h*** happened?!
Lyla- She came at me!
Amber- I this about the Hendrix thing?! Really Lyla?

They both let us go.

Talia- Why did you kill him?! I loved him!!
Lyla- It wasn't me it was Meechie!
Talia- Why did you let him do that?!
Lyla- I didn't know ok!
Both- who killed who?!
(Amber and Trina)

Talia- I loved him even though he was wrong. I'm here at this academy For Him!He is dead and can't do anything because he's not breathing. I'm here For Him!
Lyla- I'm here For Him! Mikey can't ever walk again. he suffers everyday the pain. He has to take 3 different type if pills every 4 hours, sit in a wheelchair, watch other kids play, walk, run, and dance! He deals with pain of having no feeling from his hips down! Everyday he suffers! DeMarco got the easy way out! Say something else I dare you! Because your loved one hasn't tried to commit suicide twice!
Trina- Amber, I think we need to leave them two alone. (slowly backs out of the bathroom)

Talia- I had no idea. I'm sorry. I just thought you got to live with a guy you love while mines was 6 feet under.
Lyla- I would've never done that to anybody. Meechie didn't even mean it. He was--
Talia- doing it for him?
Lyla- Friends. (puts out hand.Talia goes in for a hug. both cry)
Talia- Friends?
Lyla- OK.
