Lyla's POV

It was time for my solo. I was dancing to Mila J. Smoke Drink Break up, An her a fast mix of her whole Westside mixtape.

I was in the wings of the curtains on stage and I was really nervous.

The whole time the other girl was dancing I was just think about what would I do if I won top five. While I was off guard, Hendrix snuck up behind me, grabbed my waist and held me in his arms. we rocked side by side.

Hendrix- You nervous?
Lyla- (sighs) I'm terrified. I have never done anything this big for my life. For my future.

Hendrix turns me around and looks at me in my eyes. hands holding mine. I started to blush.

Hendrix- Do you remember what I said when we were on that roof. About what type of girl I'm looking for?
Lyla- Stars?

He kissed me. I deepened the kiss. The announcer called my name to the stage and I pulled back.

Hendrix- reach for the stars.
Lyla- (kisses him on the lips) I love you.

I let go and step out on the floor. I had a surprise for Hendrix. For everyone. I started out with the Mila J mix, but I added to the music:

I surprised the crowd an the judges. I had everyone in there feet giving an applause. I stared right at Linderman. Making every facial there was possible to throw out there no one could touch me.

No one in a ten mile radius, could outshine me.

I ended my last move on the sound of a bullet. I did a death drop. I waited for the announcer to tell me to exit the floor but when I got up, everyone was cheering for me. Even the judges was standing up applauding.

I was smiling and I ran off the stage. I grabbed Hendrix hand and til the rest if my crew to come out in the stage. We all took a bow. The crowd loved it.

10 minutes later.

All the dancers met sat on stage. The announcer stood behind a podium and started to called out the places for each section.

3rd place went to Musical Theatre
2nd place went to Ballet composers.
And 1st place goes toooooooooooo............. R&B Hip Hop Expression!!!

Like expected. We got a trophy and we were told that our surprise would be after the award ceremony inside our studio.

Announcer- Now, let's get to the main event. Which 5 lucky dancers will move on with Hendrix Michaelson in dancing at the academy for a whole year? The first dancer to enter round 2 is, Julia Ferguson!

She got up acting all surprised like she didn't know that was going to happen. Ughhh! I hate people.

Announcer- The second person is Lyla Matthews!

Bish Whet?!?! My whole crew got up and Haugged me. I walked over to Julia and stop next to her with my medal.

The announcer read off the next 2 names. Then it was one left. who would it be?

Announcer- The final dancer is Amber Jackson!

Amber?!! from my crew?!! Ayye that's my girl!!! While us give we're celebrating others were clapping but looking sad. Some were even crying.

Then all of a sudden, Mr. Linderman came to the podium and spoke.

Linderman- First I would like to congratulate these 5 magnificent dancers on your victory tonight. But I would like to make an Announcement. For the First time. We will be adding One more dancer to this roster of Students that are standing here with medals. (crowd gasps) I would like to announce that the extraordinary dancer who will e joining the year long study at the academy will be,
