Lyla POV

While I was on the bus back to Bridgland all I could do was think. He's going to realize how bad he messed up sooner or later. (sighs) It's all said and done now. All I have to do is fake smile.

Swear I hate fake smiling cause I know that's being two faceted and it ain't cool. Atleast I know I can keep it 100 with my crew.

15 Minutes Later.

I arrived at Bridgland and i talked to Joey.

Joey- and you did what?!
Lyla- I poured my drink on him!
(Both laugh)
Joey- You got some nerve.
Lyla- Well, I deserve better.
Joey- I just can't believe my little cousin. He is like the total opposite of that kind of guy. Well he has been a little different since the accident. I mean can you blame him?

Lyla- accident? What happened?
Joey- he didn't tell you?
Lyla- tell me what?
Joey- your really don't know?
Lyla- know what?
Joey- Hendrix Michaelson, The kid who fell in love. It's a long story are you sue you want me to tell you?
Lyla- Come on, get me hip!

Joey- Hendrix doesn't date too many girls, as you may have noticed. He doesn't flirt with girls he kind off stays by himself.
Lyla-Yeah, what about it?

Joey- Hendrix met a girl on day one of being at Linderman's contest. Her name was Maxine Hanover. One of the prettiest girls he'd ever laid eyes on and one of the best personalities. She was an all around dancer, smart, kind, she could dance to any beat thrown at her. she was one of the best. Every guy wanted to be with her, yet she chose shy old Hendrix. They went on a date, and that was all it took for them to fall in love. Never once was there a moment alone for them two. they got into top five there. They thought they were destined to be with each other and from that point on. A couple months before they chose who would be the winner she disappeared. Gone, no one seen her since that night. Hendrix even cried. I ain't seen Hendrix cry in a long time ever since then. But I haven't seen him as happy to be with a girl since you came along. Before you Hendrix was strictly career. That's the only way he thought he could make it up for Maxine. He never gave up on Maxine, he never believe she was dead even when the police did. after a another year everyone kept putting him down about her absence so he just went along and gave up. This other girl he messing around with it wont last. he's not looking for anything but fun. maybe this girl is driving him down the wrong road because with you, I think you made him a better dancer. I think both of you made each other a better dancer to be honest.

Lyla- He made me a better dancer. He taught me moves that I thought were impossible to do. He taught me so much, and at the same time we were falling in love. But now that's gone.

Joey- Love is never lost. You will always love the way that person does something, even if your not together. Sometimes you just have to laugh at it.
Lyla- well, while we're talking about together, why aren't you together with someone.
Joey- Just waiting for the right one.
Lyla- and until then your just playing around with people.
Joey- pretty much.
Lyla- Speaking of playing or flirting how come you act different around me?
Joey- because I still see hope for you and Hendrix.
Lyla- Whatever.
Joey- phones ringing.

I look down at my hand and my phone was ringing.

Lyla- speak of the devil. See ya later alright.

Joey went away and I was sitting there on the phone with Hendrix.

Lyla- What?
Hendrix- Can we talk?
Lyla- Last time I ca remember it didn't go so well.
Hendrix- Well can we still meet up?
Lyla- Why? I mean what else do you have to say?

Hendrix- I still love you and I always will.
Lyla- You said that last time too.
Hendrix- I kind of don't want to tell you this over the phone.
Lyla- Does it concern dance routines or music?
Hendrix- no, not really.
Lyla- Then what is it about, your my teacher. This is inappropriate.
Hendrix- So was when you kissed me on that roof.
Lyla- Fine! Where.
Hendrix- Turn around.

I looked behind me and there he was. We walked as we talked around the whole campus.

Lyla- why did you want to talk to me?
Hendrix- before I start can I ask you something?
Lyla- what?
Hendrix- do you still love me?
Lyla- A wise guy once said love can't be lost.
Hendrix- That's good to know.
Lyla- what else?

Hendrix- you were right, she wasn't
worth it and you were the best thing that happened to me. I don't know if you have heard about the story with me and Maxine.
Lyla- Yeah I heard.
Hendrix- form who?
Lyla- Joey.
Hendrix- what exactly did he tell you?
Lyla- You were in love, one night she disappeared. You didn't give up on her but you finally loss hope.
Hendrix- that's true, what else did he tell you?
Lyla- You haven't felt a certain way about a girl until me since Maxine.

Hendrix- Very true. You were right to pour water on me and to yell at me and break up with me, because I should have told you. Teree means nothing to me, when I say you are worth so much more I mean it.
Lyla- Why the sudden change of heart?
Hendrix- Shes not the girl I fell in love with and she's not the girl I thought she was.

Lyla- Is this an apology or is this you trying to see if we can get back together?
Hendrix- Both.
Lyla- I accept your apology, but I need time to think about the getting back together part.
Hendrix- Take all the time you need.
Lyla- alright.

Hendrix- I have to hurry up and catch the last but to Campus, but I'll see you when you get back? Maybe have that answer?
Lyla- Maybe, maybe not.

That boy is tripping if he think just that one little ole apology is going to win him this. Hahaha I'm Rollin on the inside but I'm serious on the outside. Kind of bipolar.

Hendrix POV

I get back to campus and Linderman calls me to his office.

Linderman- Hendrix.
Hendrix- Hey LD.
Linderman- There is something important I need to tell you.
Hendrix- Ok, well can it wait till the morning. It's kind of late.
Linderman - Hendrix, I have a surprise for you.
Hendrix- You know I don't like surprises.
Linderman- Come on in!

He yells and in walks a beautiful girl. I take a double take on her face and its her! It's....
