You know? Kacchan never really smiled. Barely when we were kids, never in middle school, and not that much of high school either. Not when he decided to start dating, or even when he was with his friends.
Come to think of it, did he ever smile when he was with Kirishima?
Well, I remember him being the slightest bit happier when he was dating him, but he never really... smiled. Of course they hugged and all that kind of stuff, but I haven't seen him smile... Until he started dating me.
...
"Kacchan? I hope this doesn't make you uncomfortable, but, why is it that you smile more with me than you ever did with Kirishima?" I asked.
"Hah? Oh, It's 'cause I thought I liked him- I mean that I realized very quickly that I loved you..." He said with a small tint of pink dusted on his cheeks.
I tackled him into a hug.
"I love you too Kacchan!!" I said giddily.
He closed his eyes and buried his face into my chest. He had that facial expression where he was smiling but his eyebrows were angry. I don't exactly have a name to that look but I love it.
We were outside on todays date. We thought it would be nice to visit the park we went to as kids. We lay on our backs as we looked at the stars.
"Deku..." I heard.
I hummed in response.
"I really... really love you, okay? And I don't want anyone to change that..." He said. He leant to his side.
"I know" I giggled. "I love you just as much or even more.." I smiled.
"So Deku... look at me" He sighed.
I looked over to him. He reached into his pocket and grabbed a small but beautiful diamond ring.
"Ka-cchan?" I said, tears pricking in my eyes...
"Will you marry me, Deku?" Said Kacchan. He was blushing madly.
Once again, I tackled him into a hug.
"Yes, of course!"
