Third PoV:
"Hey Deku, sorry I'm late, some shit ass villain decided to attack us and I'm caught up in the fight right now. I'll be home soon though! Love you, Bunny."
That was a voicemail that Katsuki had left for Izuku.
It had been about 3 months since Katsuki had left it.. And Izuku listens to it every day. It's
kind of pathetic though. He cries himself to sleep while listening to the recording.
He pays for both his and Katsuki's phone bill so he can still listen to the last recording of his voice.
He hasn't seen any of his friends either. He can't bring himself to look at them. They remind him of Katsuki.
Izuku has been going crazy because of the lack of self care. For instance, he hasn't been eating a healthy helping of food, he hasn't cleaned himself at all, and he hasn't been out if the house since Katsuki had died.
What's worse is what Izuku tells himself 24/7.
"I should have been there to help him",
"I didn't even get to hold his hand as he took his last breath",
"Maybe if I loved him more",
"It's all my fault"
Uraraka has been getting worried about Izuku though. Sometimes she stops by him and Katsuki's house only to hear Izuku sobbing. That's usually when she leaves. But today, she decided to come in and talk to Izuku. Because this time she had a plan.
She slowly approached Izuku's door and knocked. The door wasn't locked, or even latched in so it opened as soon as her fist made contact.
"De-ku?" She called out. She didn't get a response but she heard sobbing coming form the back of the house. She walked down the hallway and came to a stop in front of Izuku's room. She slowly opened the door to see Izuku listening to the voicemail Katsuki has left him.
"Deku, can I talk to you? I think I may be able to help" She said.
"The-- the only way to help- is if I can see Ka-cchan -again." Izuku sobbed.
"I think I can make that happen." she stated.
Izuku stopped sobbing and stared wide-eyed at his best friend.
"H-how?" He asked, tears still in his eyes.
"I should have come to you sooner with this.. but I was scared" she said. "I have a close family friend that.. well... she has a quirk that can send people to the afterlife!" She blurted out.
"W-what..." Izuku asked.
"Do you maybe want me to take you to her?" Uraraka asked hesitantly.
"Yes! Please! I- I just want to see Kacchan!!" He yelled.
"Alright.. come with me then." she said.
Time skip
Uraraka and Izuku walked up to a pale grey house. It was small but well taken care of.
Uraraka walked up the steps and knocked on the door. After a few seconds, a pink haired girl opened the door.
"Hey Ochaco! And Hello Ochacos friend!" she said sweetly.
Uraraka whispered something in her ear snd her face went blank for a second. But then became cheerful once again.
"Alright.. Deku isn't it? Just come in and we'll get this started!" she said.
The girl led the two to her room and told Izuku to sit down.
"Okay Deku, this won't hurt but here are your instructions: You have five minutes. You can choose to either stay in the afterlife, or you can come back. If you don't decide in time you will automatically come back. We won't judge no matter what you pick though, but if you choose to stay, you won't be able to come back here, alright?" she said.
"I understand" Izuku said softly.
"Deku? *sigh* If you choose not to come back, we will all miss you..." Uraraka said softly. Izuku just nodded.
"Alrighty.. here you go!" The link haired girl said as she lightly tapped Izuku's forehead.
A cloud of white smoke appeared around Izuku and then slowly faded. And Izuku stood up. He had been successful moved to the afterlife.
"Deku?" A familiar voice called out.
"Kacchan?" Izuku called back.
"Deku!!" Katsuki ran up behind Izuku and grabbed his waist. Izuku giggled as tears started to form in his eyes.
"Kacchan! I thought- I would never see you again!" Izuku said while tears escaped from his eyes. He turned around
"H-how?" Katsuki said while giving Izuku butterfly kisses.
"Haha, it was a quirk!" Izuku said in between giggles.
"Damn, I missed you so much Izuku!" Katsuki hugged Izuku tighter and then connected their lips. They stayed like that for a while until Izuku heard a voice.
"Times up Deku! I hope you decided!" the voice said. It sounded like the pink haired girl.
"Deku? What's happening? Why are you fading?" Katsuki asked.
"I-I forgot to decide! Kacchan! I-I'm going back!! No! Please!" Izuku cried out as he went back to the real world.
"I'll be waiting for you, Bunny." Katsuki said as Izuku finialy vanished.
