I sat in Dekus hospital room. You might be wondering why though, right?
Well there was a villain he fought... his quirk was "implosion", ( I didn't do my research I just thought it was a cool power ) basically the opposite of my quirk. He hit Deku with one of his attacks and completely knocked him out. Basically killing him. But he didn't give up. His heart would stop for a few seconds before starting up again though. For those times I help his hand tightly and talked to him. I thought that if he concentrated on my voice, he would stay with me just a little longer. I knew I was crying. He probably knew too.
"Izuku please don't leave me. I need you." I cried.
"I'll try Kacchan. I love you" he whispered.
I let a flow of tears out of my eyes knowing that that was the last time I would ever hear that from him. The last time I would ever hear that name.
I looked at the EKG monitor. Slowly showing me that he was still alive. I knew it wasn't going to last much longer. More tears slipped out of my eyes.
Suddenly a doctor walked in.
"Mr. Bakugou? I'm sorry but if we don't see any results in the next twenty four hours, we have to unplug him." he said.
"What? NO! You can't just do that to him!" I tried to yell but my throat was sore from crying.
"I'm sorry sir."
I cried even more. Cherishing the last moments I would have with Izuku. I hugged him for the last time. And then I kissed him on the lips for the last time. But he did something that made my heart melt.
He kissed back...
But it wasn't to last.
The EKG monitor suddenly went flat...
"Get the doctors in here right now!!" One of the doctors yelled.
My heart sank. I was loosing him. I cried harder. I couldn't hear what the doctors were doing. All I could hear was the world falling apart around me.
"I'm so sorry for your loss sir." said one of the doctors.
"You can unplug him now." the main doctor say.
I collapsed on the floor. My elbows on my knees and my hands on my face. But then...
I felt someone wipe away my tears.
I looked up and saw no one.
"Izuku?"
I heard a whispy voice say:
"I love you so much love. Don't waste time worrying about me. I know you'll find another person to care for like you did to me. Goodbye my love. See you in the afterlife."
I felt a kiss on the lips. And then it disappeared.
"I love you, Deku"
