Annabelle was into her second movie, Mean Girls, when Julie suddenly came walking into the garage. "Alright Belle, you're coming with me to the dance." Julie told her, Annabelle falling off the couch in fear. "Sorry. But yes, every time the boys go somewhere you're usually either here alone or Reggie stays with you. Which I've noticed. So you're coming with me to the dance."

"I've never been to a school dance." Annabelle said as she stood up and walked over to Julie. Julie's eyes widened in shock.

"You're joking, right? You have never been to a school dance? Aren't you eighteen or nineteen? I would've thought that you would've had like millions of guys begging to take you and all that stuff. You're - you're gorgeous, Belle, literally Flynn never shuts up about you. Okay, you know what, come on I'm dressing you up because even if people can't see you, you're gonna be the prettiest one there." Julie said before she grabbed Annabelle's hand and lead her to her house.

The girls ran upstairs and into Julie's room, Julie playing some music while they got ready. Julie sat Annabelle down on her bed and started putting makeup on her. Although she couldn't use the same foundation and Julie didn't use much makeup, she still put on some mascara, blush and lip gloss on the girl. The mascara made Annabelle's blue eyes pop and Julie loved it. She then handed Annabelle a short, red, silk dress that went up to her knees. Annabelle smiled and Julie turned so she could put it on. When she got it on, she stared at herself in the mirror. Julie turned to see the blonde doing so and Julie smiled at her.

"I see why Reggie looks at you the way he does."

This made Annabelle turn. She laughed, "What are you talking about?"

"Reggie. Have you seen the way he looks at you? Jeez, Annabelle, I don't know how you can say that nothing is going on between you two. He looks at you like you put all the stars in the sky and joined all the constellations together. It's obvious that he likes you. And it's obvious that you like him too, so what's stopping you two from being apart?" Julie asked.

"Well, I mean, we're dead." Annabelle and Julie laughed. "Maybe it just wouldn't be the same as if we were alive, you know? I won't be able to introduce my parents to him or meet his parents. And if we had lasted a while, I'm not able to get pregnant so I wouldn't be able to have babies that have his gorgeous eyes. So I don't know. I do love him though, Jules. A lot. But I have no idea if he feels the same."

"He would be a fool to not feel the same, Belle." Julie tried to grab Annabelle's hand, but their hands went right through each other. "Come on. You look gorgeous and I have a dance to play at. And after, I'm gonna have a long talk with Reggie." The two girls laughed as they walked out of the room.

When they entered the gym, music is playing loudly and a lot of students were all dancing together. If they weren't, then they were at the side tables having snacks. "So this is what it feels like," Annabelle smiled as she released a sigh. Julie chuckled and lead Annabelle to the front of the stage where Flynn was DJ'ing. Julie waved to Flynn and Flynn pointed to the side of the stage.
