CHAPTER 3: A Sad Song's Missing Key

Shoto's POV:

As we head over to the sight where the body is at. Izuku starts humming our song. So I join in.

"You know, it's kinda sad. How everyone has a song to match with their soulmate, but there's never any lyrics to them."

"Well when you think about it. Maybe we're the only ones who can write them."

I ruffle izuku's hair, while keeping my eyes on the road.

"Still so cheerful as ever I see."

*giggle* "Shosho stop! You're making me blush."

We arrived at the place. The body is washed up on the riverbank. As I start to search on the body for ID. Izuku rushes over, and an officer stops him.

"Zuzu I thought you were gonna stay in the car."

"I know who he is. That's Denki Kaminari. He's the electric guitarist of  the death pop band called Simp Servants."

"Wait that's the-"

Izuku starts to cry. So I take him away from the scene to talk.

"I know this must be hard, but could you tell me everything you know about the group?"

"Mhhm. It's a metal band that makes multiple types of songs. It just depends on the beats. They're famous for taking their fans true love songs, and adding lyrics to them. The group is composed of four members. Katsuki Bakugou is the lead singer and pianist. Keigo takami is the acoustic guitarist and the romantic singer of the group. He sings very slow songs, unlike bakugou. Who mostly is pop and the softer metal singer. Touya Todoroki is the base guitarist and the raspy scream of the metal songs."

"Wait who's the drummer?"

"Hanta Sero use to be. That is until he was kicked out for drug use two weeks ago. Now the drums are all digital."

I'm so sorry babe."

^So that's where Touya went when he left home.^

An officer yells a loud.

"Hey you can't come back here!"

Izuku looks up. His eyes light up with excitement.

"They're here, they're really here."

I turn around to see the band trying to get to Denki's body. As all of them look like they're in destress. Crying out for their friend.

"Why are you all here? This is an active investigation sight."

One of the blonde guys with golden eyes responds.

"We heard on our social media page that Kaminari was spotted here. So we had to check it out."

Touya walks up  and hugs me.

"Hey there little bro. So how's the old basterd treating you?"

"Huh! He's working me half to death."

"Heh now you know why I left home and refused to work under him. I swear being a detective under him. Sounded like a living nightmare. "

I whisper in Touya's ear.

"Hey by any chance. Did you get the song?"

"Yeah and it'll be ready to play at tonight's concert  as planned."

"What?"

"Yeah bakugou found a drummer that also knows electric guitar, and violin. Now keigo has someone to play violin with."

I turn to see a guy with red hair and sharp teeth talking to izuku. He appears to be making izuku smile.

^I wonder if that's the new guy.^

"Oi! Detective!."

I see the other blonde pull out a card with four phone numbers written on it..

"Hm?"

"If you need to get in contact with us, to find the son of a bitch behind this. Call any of us. We'd love to send them to the  executioner."

After that, they start to head back to their van.
