CHAPTER 19: Revenge And Sentencing

Keigo's POV:

I go to speak, but as my lips opened to utter a sound. An officer orders me to be silent.

"Be silent Keigo Takami, or should I call you by your street name, Hawks the preditor of addictions?"

"Listen i-"

An officer kicks my balls causing me to curl up as much as possible. As my knees began to buckle. Another officer grabs a handful of my hair. Jerking my head forward before slamming it back into the bars. Once done he says. "That's for all the victims you've killed."

After that the other officers put my head in an arm head lock to keep my body standing upwards. That's when the rest start punching my torso repeatedly. Gut punch made me lose the contents of my stomach. One hit paralyzed my respiratory system so I couldn't catch my breath. Then five more hits to my ribs caused them to break. With every sound of them breaking,  came extreme pain unlike anything I've ever felt before. The one holding me up then proceeded to punch my back. That's when everything started to get hazey.

"That's from enji for what you did to his son. Rest assure your court hearing will be soon. That way you'll never sale drunks or murder anyone ever again. "

Weak and panting through the pain. I lift my head up to speak in a shaking low vocal tone.

"I haven't sold drugs since Sero got hurt-"

One punch to my face was the last thing I remember before waking up in my own vomit on the floor of the cell. I awoke to a guard telling me to get up so is to go to court.

Izuku's POV:

Touya and I watch over Shoto.

"Sorry to hear about keigo."

"There's nothing to be sorry about,  because I'm going to prove his innocence to the courts."

"Touya-"

I desided to not argue so is to let Shoto sleep. That's when Kirishima came to get Touya for the court hearing. So Bakugou joins me in watching shoto.

Touya's POV:

Once in the court room. My father requests for me to leave. As I'm a conflict of interest. Since I'm Shoto's older brother and was dating keigo during the time in question. Father told the court that my statement would favor keigo and lie about events in question. As I was being escorted out. I yell out what I want them to hear.

"Listen to me. I can prove keigo was framed! Keigo passes out at the sight of blood. It's his phobia!"

The judge tells the jury to strike my statement from memory. So is to not influence their decision.

After a few hours pass. The jury makes a rule. That's when I see keigo being escorted away in cuffs. Kirishima stops me from approaching him. Instead of saying a word. Kirishima nods his head no while looking down.

"I'm sorry Touya. He was found guilty of all charges and sentenced to death by hanging."

I fall to my knees and begin to cry like a child. Knowing that any day without warning. Keigo would be hung and he'd only get an hour notice before it's to happen.
