CHAPTER 22: Awaken The Sleeping Prince

Keigo's POV:

I tried to remember what happened the last night I saw Denki Kaminari, but everything was fuzzy from the alcohol. We had just came back home from our tour and was celebrating. Later that night I only could remember bakugou kissing Denki. That's when Denki back handed bakugou before walking out. Bakugou followed after him and That's all I could make out from memory.

<wait bakugou?>

"Oh no, I know who framed me now. Warden can you do me a favor? Instead of my last meal. I'd like my execution to be postponed until tomorrow, but broadcast the news that I died today as planned. If I'm right. The real killer will be caught today. However if I'm wrong. Then my sentence will be carried out tomorrow and that'll satisfy everyone."

Shoto's POV:

I awoke to humming. As my eyes opened to bakugou petting midoriya who's asleep. I felt a strong migraine coming.

"Shh izuku is still asleep. I know he wanted me to wake him up when you did. However he seems at peace right now. It's as if he's in a dreamless slumber."

As bakugou smirks. Memories start to come back. I go to scream out profanities but my voice is too horsed from screaming earlier. Do to my arms and legs are in casts. I can only move my fingers.

"So you remember? That's good. Now I can punish you for surviving the first time."

Bakugou pulls out a knife and puts it to izuku's throat. I gasp and start to cry. Rasps and random hushed sounds escape my lips as I plead for bakugou to let izuku go. The only word to come out clear is.

"Why?"

"Shall I tell you a story? As you wish but first."

Bakugou checks his phone. That's when his eyes light up with joy.

"We can talk now that Keigo's dead. He took the blame for my work."

My disbelief is resolved when he shows me the news.

"Rest assured I'll remember not only keigo, but you and izuku aswell."

My eyes widen with fear and anger.

<So he's gonna kill us before leaving town? Not if I can help it.>
