NMSC 6: Entangled Hearts (Tiaom)

Aom was on the sofa when they both arrived. She suddenly stood up and embrace Athena.

Aom: I was worried about you the whole time. I'm so sorry.

Tina leaves them for a while so they can talk privately.

Athena: I'm sorry for what I did mom. it's just hard to believe that is all happening to you and dad. I'm used to you being okay.

Aom: I know, I know that's why we're sorry.

Athena: mom, stay here, don't leave for Paris. 

Aom: you know what, this isn't the first time I and your dad had a big fight. not the first time we decide to let go of each other and just give up. I love you Tina so much and I never ever imagine a life without her by my side. 

Athena: then stay with us mom, you don't have to leave.

Aom: ill stay, be with your dad. will we be happy?

Athena didn't answer.  Tina was also listening upstairs.

Aom: Paris, maybe that's the place where I can forget about what happened to me and Tina, maybe the time comes, I already forgive her. ill come back whole and ready to start again.

Athena: Do you think Paris is the only way mom?

Aom: for now yes, please understand.

Athena nodded but still don't want her mom to leave.

After Athena fell asleep. Aom and Tina had a conversation.

Tina: is there any way for me to change your mind?

Aom:no

Tina: you know 6 months is not easy.

Aom: in 6 months, maybe I will forget everything you have done

Tina: why can't you listen to me? I have done nothing wrong

Aom: that's another thing Tina, in 6 months maybe you'll learn to tell the truth. you know you did wrong. I saw it, I was there. did you tell that to Athena?

Tina: I told you I'm drunk, what you're telling that you saw, I didn't remember any of it.

Aom: you don't remember or you don't want to remember because you don't want to admit that you commit a sin? that's two different things, Tina. maybe if you've been true to me right from the beginning, maybe I won't decide to go to Paris, to leave you and Athena. but I can't keep living this way, I can't keep arguing with you. I'm so tired. Just please let me do this while I still have a little love for you. Don't let that little love disappear.

Tina: if I will let you go, will you promise to come back to me? to us?

Aom: no promises. but ill come back because you are my family. I just need this for myself. Athena will understand, she's a good person. we raised her with an open mind.

Tina saw aom holding her ring from her finger.

Aom: this will be my way back to you.Thank you for understanding Tina.
