One Love - { Cedric Diggory x Draco Malfoy }

Chapter Six.

"So, when are you coming over?" You asked Hermione as you sat with her during lunch. Draco was next to you and Cedric was still not speaking to you.

"In an hour we'll all come to your dorm." Hermione said and you nodded.

Draco leaned over a kissed your cheek which made you blush. "I'll catch you ladies later, I have important business to attend to."

All the other girls grinned at you as you blushed. "Let's go get ready." You said and got up with Hermione and Ginny following.

You hair was loose and curled and it reached down your back. You had a dutch braid crown braided across your hair, and intertwined with golden jewels. Your make up was done and you had your dress on. You looked stunning, no words could even describe how beautiful you looked.

"You ready to go?" Ginny asked you, Hermione and Luna.

You nodded, "Draco's meeting me in the hall."

"Victor's also meeting me there." Hermione said.

"Then we can walk together and Ginny can go with her date!" You said, as the four of you linked arms and walked through the corridors

You and Hermione stepped through the doors and all eyes were planted on the two of you. Both Draco and Cedric couldn't keep their eyes off you.

The hall was beautiful. The windows stretched up the entire walls, and the glass roof glistened with fairy lights. Tables dotted around the hall, filled with detailed ice sculptures and sugar frosted fruits. Fern trees were put up, coated with fake snow as icicles hung off the edges. The dance floor took up the majority of the floor space, as it glistened in the lights. Plush sofas decorated the edges and the frozen statues decorated the walls.

"You look gorgeous Darling." Draco smiled down at you.

"You look rather handsome yourself." You smiled.

Draco pulled you onto the dance floor and he placed a hand on your hip and intertwined the other with one of your hands while the other was on his shoulder. The two of you started swaying to the music, as he swirled you around and dipped you before pulling you back up again and the two of you continued to dance.

As you rested your chin on Draco's shoulder, you locked eyes with Cedric, who was dancing with Cho. A twinge of jealousy struck your heart as you let go of Draco. "I can't do this."

"Lucy what's wrong?" He asked but you ignore him and walk out into the courtyard.

The courtyard was peaceful, the only noise was the soft humming of music from inside. Small snowflakes trickled down, onto your dress, as you sat down on the wall. All the feelings and emotions you had been feeling the past few weeks had been bottled up, as your eyes brimmed with tears, and were now over flowing.

Suddenly two pairs of footsteps approached you. You turned around to see the last two people you wanted to see - Draco and Cedric.

"What is going on?" You asked.

"Go on Cedric, tell her what you told me." Draco snarled.

Cedric sighed, before looking at you with his chocolate brown eyes. The eyes that you hadn't looked into in so long. "Lucy, loving you is wrong!"

"Ced-"

"No it is! Don't try to tell me otherwise. You're clearly in love with Draco. I guess you've already chosen. I see the way you look at him." He turned to Draco. "Congratulations man, you won."

"I didn't choose anyone, okay? I am not some prize to be won! Cedric you have been ignoring me for the past week, and I miss my best friend! If you had told me your feelings earlier, then things might've been different. You're the last person that should be standing there and telling me you love me. What about Cho? Ced, what the hell were you thinking!"

Both of the boys looked at you, shell shocked.

You continued, " And Draco, you just wanted to be with me to get back at Cedric! Did I mean nothing to you at all? God how could I have been so stupid."

You threw your purse on the floor and ran out into the grounds. You ignore the shouts calling your name, or the footsteps behind you. The snow made it almost impossible to navigate but you didn't care where you were going.

You just had to get away.
