One Love - { Cedric Diggory x Draco Malfoy }

Chapter Ten.

The next day, you and Cedric walked out of the common room and to the Great Hall for breakfast. You were starving.

You walked in and you saw Draco along with Blaise. Of course Pansy was right next to Draco.

You tried to dart away but Blaise points over to you and Draco got up and walked over.

"Lucy I'm so-" He started to say, trying to hold your hand but was cut off by Cedric as you recoiled away.

"Back of Malfoy." Cedric snarled. "It's better if you stay away from her." He put a protective arm around your shoulders.

You started walking away and you heard Draco scoff.

"You know, I'd think you would've been the one cheating you know. You're constantly around Cedric. It's always 'what if he's dead" or "what if Cedric hates me." You're pathetic."  Draco said and you stopped dead in your tracks.

He didn't.

You turned around and marched up to him, breaking free from Cedric's attempts to grab you. You drew your arm and launched it forward, punching Draco square in the nose- creating a bloody waterfall to come pouring down from his nose.

You didn't say anything and just walked back to Cedric.

"Let's eat." You said and walked past him to take a seat at the Hufflepuff table.

Cedric held in a smirk and just shook his head, yet deep down he was incredibly proud.

"That must've felt good." Cedric said as he took a seat next to you, reaching for a plate.

"It felt brilliant."

"I think he deserved it." Cedric spoke, piling up his plate.

You snapped your head round at him and laughed. This is not the type of thing Saint Cedric would say.

"I'm not going to go soft on him. If you hadn't have punched him, I would've." He spoke.

Instead of jestering him on, you wrapped your arms around his neck and embraced him. You buried your head into the nook of his shoulder and neck, smelling his Mahogany cologne. He hugged you back, holding you tightly - surprised by your sudden wave of emotion.

Once you withdrew, he met your gaze. His dark brown eyes poured  into your soul. Brushing his hand against your cheek, he asked "Lucy, what's up?"

"Just be careful tomorrow, okay?"

Cedric threw his head back and roared. "Is that it Luce?"

You nodded meekly, feeling slightly stupid.

He chuckled and grabbed your hand, entwining your fingers with his, and the both of you walked out of the Great Hall.

Hey everyone! Sorry this chapter is so short, but the next one (the finale) will be very.. interesting. Lucy got revenge on Draco for cheating and Cedric and her are best friends again - or are they getting closer? Tell me your thoughts!
