Diana's POV

Days passed. I sneaked out during the nights to hang out and train with TXT. We had a lot of fun during my visits there and soon enough, we all spent time together as if we were childhood friends and had known each other since many years.

"Diana?" Yeonjun called out, as I was packing my stuff back here for tomorrow because it was time for me to go back. I hummed in response, closing the box which contained my stuff and began strapping on my boots to my legs.

"It seems you have grown really close to them." Yeonjun said, sitting beside me with a sigh. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah, they are really good. I'm glad you found them." I said, nodding, looking down again to resume the job I was doing.

"You know what? You can come here permanently." Yeonjun suggested, patting my shoulder lightly. My eyes grew wide in surprise and whipped my head around to look at him.

"What?! Are you sure?" I asked him, shocked at the suggestion.

"Yeah. Join us. We anyways have extra room for you to settle here plus the guys like you too. We could always take you in." He said, smiling at me and shrugging his shoulders casually, but his gleaming eyes gave away that he was internally overjoyed to tell me this.

"I'll join. I'll tell Dad about this and tell you later when I'm joining okay?" I said, as I strapped the knives to my belt, hiding them under my t-shirt and got up. Yeonjun smiled, nodding.

"I'll drop you today." I heard Taehyun speak up from the door. I nodded in his direction in response.

"Alright. Bye Junie." I said, giving Yeonjun a small wave.

"Bye." Yeonjun said, as he waved us back while me and Taehyun left the room.

Author's POV

"Sir, our sources tell that Yeonjun is part of TXT." Soojin spoke from the other side of the call.

"Are you sure?" Jungwoo asked, as he kept the files on the table, slightly surprised at what the younger male was telling him.

"Yes sir." Soojin confirmed. Jungwoo hummed in response, mentally noting down the fact.

"That means Diana also must know about this. Soojin, keep an eye on her for me. I'm pretty sure she must have already met him by now." Jungwoo said, sighing, and thinking of a plan.

"Yes sir." The male responded from the other side.

Choi Jungwoo, Diana's father, kept down his phone after cutting the call. He looked out and saw the moon partially hidden by the clouds in the dark sky, while playing with a pen in his hand.

"Jihun?" He called out suddenly, as he kept down the pen in his hand. A male, who was probably in his late twenties, entered the room as soon as he was called.

"Check if Diana is in her room or not." Jungwoo said, taking out a cigarette from his drawer and igniting its tip.

"Yes sir." Jihun said, before going out of the room again to finish his task. He soon came back, shaking his head. "She is not in her room, sir." He said, to which Jungwoo nodded, since he had already expected this to happen.

"You can leave." Jungwoo said, motioning him to go. He then took out his phone and dialed a number. "Taehwan?" He spoke into the reciever as soon as the call was picked up.

"Yes. Speak Jungwoo." Taehwan responded from the other end of the call.

"You know the whereabouts of a gang called TXT?" Jungwoo spoke, as he placed a cigarette on his lips.

"Wait. Let me check." Taehwan said, going silent for a few moments. "Yes, we know. But why?" The male questioned, curious at the sudden question asked to him.

"I need you to kidnap my daughter from there." Jungwoo said, blowing out a smoke ring.

"You want to get Diana kidnapped by us?" Taehwan asked, shocked after listening to Jungwoo who wanted his own daughter to get kidnapped.

"Yes. Maybe kill her if you want. I don't care. I am pretty sure by now she will join TXT soon enough. And Diana has most of the confidential information about us. We will be in danger if she joins hands." He said, as he stubbed the cigarette on the ash tray, then leaning back on his chair.

"I see. What will we get in return?" Taehwan asked from the other side.

"You name the price after you do the job. You can have all the fun you want with her. But you have to prove later that she is dead or is in no condition to join anyone." Jungwoo demanded.

"Done." Taehwan said a dark chuckles erupted from his lips, cutting the call.

Diana's POV

"Yeonjun asked me to join you guys." I said while walking with Taehyun, as we made our way to my place. I saw him smile at my statement, probably happy at the decision.

"Really? So are you joining us?" He asked, looking at me curiously with his doe eyes. I nodded, smiling.

"I'll tell my dad tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I will be able to join because he doesn't even care if I stay there or not." I said, shrugging my shoulders, as we continued to walk ahead towards my house.

"Oh-" Taehyun said but stopped when both of us heard some shuffling noise. We both stopped walking, as we looked behind to check if anyone was there.

"Someone's here." I whispered, quietly removing the knives from their sheaths which were hung on my belt.

"Not someone. I think this is an ambush. They chose to attack us in a dark area." Taehyun whispered, as he took out his gun, carefully scanning the area.

"Shit." I muttered under my breath. Suddenly, we heard a gunshot. Taehyun and I jumped on the opposite sides, avoiding the bullet which was aimed at any one of us.

"Diana run!" Taehyun said, as he shot people who were coming from front of him. I saw a man, with a stick, who was going to hit Taehyun on his head. I ran behind him, and stabbed him in his back, instantly killing him. I looked around and saw more men coming out of the dark to attack us.

"Diana, go! There are too many. We have to run!" Taehyun shouted, throwing away his empty gun at one man who fell unconscious upon getting hit on his forehead, and took out his other one which I realised was his last.

I took my cue and began running when suddenly I heard a gunshot and felt a piercing pain in my leg.

"Ah shit!" I exclaimed, loosing my balance and falling down on the ground. Two men suddenly loomed over me and I felt a napkin being pressed on my face, covering my nose and mouth. My eyes widened in surprise, my hands trying to break free from their grip but in vain, since the drug which was applied on the napkin was making me feel weak.

Chloroform.

Soon, I felt all the energy from my body drained out and my world becoming dark as I stumbled into unconsciousness.
