Diana's POV
"They are the Enhypen." Yeonjun said, a smile running on his lips. I gasped, my eyes widening in surprise, as I glanced at the male standing near the door.
"Enhypen? One of Dad's enemie-" I said but I was cut short by Yeonjun.
"Yep. They are with us." He said, nodding. I kept my hand on my chest, realising that I was actually holding my breath all this while in anticipation.
"Oh thank god." I said, sighing in relief. "So you guys came to get me back when Yeonjun told you?" I asked the black haired male who was standing my the door. He nodded in response. "Thank you." I said, smiling.
"No problem." The male replied, the corner of his lips going up as he smiled, making him look quite naive unlike the fact that he was actually a part of a mafia gang.
I swear to lord, the duality is tremendous.
"Where is that Sunghoon guy? I have to thank him too for freeing me back there." I said, looking outside the door to see if he was standing there but unfortunately, I saw no one.
"Wait, I'll call him." The male said as he walked out of the room, leaving the two of us alone.
"I should leave now. I have to check if we are still being followed or not." Yeonjun said, leaning in to peck my forehead.
"What about me?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow curiously. He paused, thinking about my question for a hot second.
"Stay with them till I say. Then you can come with me." He said, shrugging his shoulders since he wasn't much sure of his answer. I nodded in affirmative, agreeing to him. Both of us sat silently, the only sound coming from outside the room.
"Junie?" I called out, breaking the peaceful silence. Yeonjun looked at me, as he stopped playing with the pillow in his hand. "Who got me kidnapped?" I asked him, curious when I saw his smile fade away.
"Dad. He made Taehwan, leader of Scorpions, kidnap you. They planned on killing you, I think." He said, looking down, dejected. I gasped, visibly shocked at my brother's reply.
"To kill me? Why?" I said, feeling as if the air was suddenly sucked out of me.
"Maybe he got to know that you were joining us. He didn't want you to join so he sent his ally's men to kill you." Yeonjun said, fiddling with the pillow in his hand nervously since he didn't know what my reaction to this would be to this. I gulped, letting the fact sink in.
"They will try again when they get to know that I am alive." I said, worried, looking up at him for his response. To my horror he nodded slowly, agreeing.
"Yes. But you don't worry. I'm pretty sure you are safe here. Stay here for me till I come back to take you okay?" Yeonjun asked, his brown eyes staring right at me. I hummed in response when Sunghoon entered the room, marking his presence by knocking slowly on the open door.
"How are you?" He asked, smiling, as soon as he saw me turn my head around to look at him.
"I'm fine. Thanks for the piggyback ride there." I said, soft chuckles pouring out of my mouth as I recalled the memory.
"No problem." He replied, laughing at my statement. Yeonjun too joined us, sitting up straight.
"I'll leave now. Take care of her till I come back to get her okay?" Yeonjun said, looking at the male who was still all smiley from the laughing-fest.
"Don't worry, she will be safe here." Sunghoon assured Yeonjun, nodding. Yeonjun thanked him and shifted to the edge of the bed, ready to leave.
"Bye Diana." Yeonjun said, turning around to look at me, waving his hand slightly in the air.
