Diana's POV

"Are you done?" I heard Jake ask from outside the door as I was tying my hair.

"Yeah, come in." I said, as I pinned up my hair. The door opened, revealing Jake.

"I- uhh-" He paused, as he stared at my clothes. I was wearing a loose white semi transparent top with a black tank-top underneath it.

"What happened?" I asked him, a playful smirk plastered on my face. He stared at my face for a second, shocked at my question but then shook his head, looking away.

"No, I just- never mind. I made something so we can have it till others come." he said, as his eyes trailed around, trying not to look at me.

"Okay." I said, as I went towards him. "My leg doesn't hurt much now so I think I can make it." I said, as I tried walking a bit normally.

"As you wish." He quickly said, as he left. I chuckled to myself at his flustered state, as I made my way to the dining table.

Author's POV

"We lost Diana." Taehwan spoke into the phone, as he sat attentively on his chair in his office, wondering how the older male will respond.

"What?! I give you one simple task and you fail at it?!" Jungwoo shouted angrily from the other side.

"We can't attack again. Most of my men were killed at our mansion. Only we four are at the hideout along with three to four men." Taewhan said, as he took a sip of water from the glass kept on his table, nervous.

"Did you get any whereabouts of Diana?" Jungwoo asked from the other side of the call, while letting out a sigh.

"I have sent some men at the TXT's place. If they get to know that Diana is there, then they would inform me. And one of my men is sent out to check at all our enemies' hideouts to see if she is there." Taewhan said. "And I will need men for attacking if we find Diana." He demanded. Jungwoo chuckled from the other side.

"You let me down and then expect me to send more men?" He asked, laughing, as if it was a joke.

"That was the deal Jungwoo, you give me men time to time and I give you my support." Taehwan said, slightly angry after listening the older male laugh at the serious issue.

"Not this time Taehwan, you let me down this time. Get hold of Diana and then I'll provide you men." Jungwoo said, and then the line went dead. Taehwan kept down the phone harshly.

"What does that old man think of himself?!" Taehwan muttered angrily, as he stood up and threw the glass of water on the floor in anger, the latter shattering to pieces as soon as it made contact with the floor. "Dohyun!" He called out, as he fumed.

"What happened Taehwan?" The black haired male asked, curious, as soon as he entered the room and saw the mess made on the floor.

"Did any of our spies come back?" Taehwan asked him. Dohyun shook his head in reply. "Tell me as soon as they bring any news." Taehwan said, as he sat back in his chair, lighting a cigarette.

"You will regret doing this Jungwoo, you will regret bitterly." He muttered, as he blew out a smoke ring, staring at the wall.

Jake's POV

"You counted the money right?" I asked Jungwon, as the six boys returned after the dealing.

"Yep. The amount is exact." He said, nodding, as he went down to keep the money in the safe.

"Why did you guys take so much time?" Diana asked. All eyes were on her, as she asked that question because most of us had forgotten that there was someone living with us temporarily.

"The first venue got compromised so we had to shift it to somewhere far away." Sunoo said, as he cracked his knuckles. "Some old woman saw a gun in the second party's car so she called the police." He said, sighing, as he sat down on the couch.

"Luckily the police officer knew us so he let us go but to avoid any more such problems, we had to shift the venue." Sunghoon said, as he took out the guns which were attached to his belt and kept them on a small table beside the couch.

"Well, I'm too tired so I'll just go to sleep. Goodnight guys." Diana said, yawning, as she went to her room to sleep. Soon, the rest of the guys had their dinner and went to sleep. As my room was upstairs, I had to pass Diana's room in order to reach the stairs. As I was passing by, I suddenly stopped, as I saw her face partially lit by the moonlight which was falling inside through the window, as she was peacefully sleeping. I stood there, staring at her face and not realising that Sunghoon was standing beside me.

"What are you looking at?" He asked, as I continued to look at Diana's face. I shook my head.

"She reminds me of her. The look in her eyes, her kindness." I said, sighing, as I stared at the floor thinking.

"Who?" Sunghoon asked softly, trying not to wake up Diana.

"My mother." I said, holding back my tears as they threatened to fall from my eyes. "I know I was very young when I lost her but," I paused, as I sighed. "I don't know how to say this-" I continued but I was cut short by Sunghoon.

"It's fine. I understand. Now let's go or else she might wake up." He said, as he gently placed his arm on my shoulder. I nodded, as I looked one last time at Diana, who was still sleeping peacefully and then closed the door of her room, turning to make my way to my room.
