As you started to think about what just happened, you got a ping on your phone. It's an email from BigHit which you read out to Kara:

Congratulations Y/n Chae!

Your flight has been booked for Saturday the 20th at 9 am and arrives in Seoul Incheon airport on Sunday afternoon. Please see attached your boarding pass. Your return flight is on the following Saturday afternoon. Please fill in these forms...

BTS is excited to welcome you to Korea! And again, congratulations Y/n.

'Hey, the date is the 18th, so you have... Y/n you have 2 days!' Kara said calmly at first but turned into frantic shouting at the end.

You quickly got out your phone and started texting your older cousin who you live with.

You: KAI YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED

Overprotective kaisin: Is everything ok?

You: I won this competition I entered to go see BTS in South Korea!!

Overprotective kaisin: Are you sure it is not a scam?

You: *link to announcement* see for yourself

He took a second to watch the video and then replied

Overprotective kaisin: 42 mil is ridiculous, I don't see the appeal.

Overprotective kaisin: Do I have to let you go?

You: come ooonnnn!!! and don't get me started on the appeal...

Overprotective kaisin: When you come home tomorrow we'll discuss it

'Ah Kai is being stubborn.' You sighed as you tossed your phone onto the bed.

I've been living with him for 3 years and he still treats me like a child. Ugh!

'If he doesn't let you go, I'll pin him to the ground as you make a break for it.' She suggested with a perfectly serious face until it broke and you both started laughing yet again.

'Y/n, I wanted to ask about the paragraph you had to write to enter. What did you write about?' She looked at you curiously and you stopped laughing.

It was a topic that's been on your mind recently... 'I think I wrote something about fate, can't really remember.' You waved off the question.

After signing a few forms from the email, the rest of the evening of the celebratory sleepover you chatted about BTS and what you're going to ask Jimin and the other boys. Before you would do the same thing with Kara, chat about BTS until 2 in the morning. You and Kara found out about them 3 years ago and you spent those past 3 years fangirling over them and how they are so down to earth and adorable but simultaneously so hot and so precious it's like they were a blessing to the Earth.

Everything feels so surreal.

'Thanks for having me over Mrs Kim!' you smiled and waved to Kara and her mom as you left the next morning.

Kara pulled you back for a hug, whispering in your ear, 'Don't go falling for them now...' You could feel the devious smirk on her face.

'Don't worry, I'm not interested in love.' You reminded her with a wink as you turned to grab your bag and hop out of the doorway to another bright sunny summer day.

'Make sure to keep me posted!' Kara shouted after you and you gave her a solute as the door shut.

As you walked home, you started to feel more worried about meeting them.
