~ Chapter 12 ~

'I love your voice too,' you blurted out without thinking. It was your turn to cover your mouth in embarrassment.

You could see y/n go wide eyed before furrowing her brows and Tae tried to brush off your confession as he said, 'Truth!' and everyone started uming to show they were thinking of a good question to cover up Yoongi admitting to their collective misdeed of filming her singing.

'What's the biggest mistake you've ever made?' Y/n chimed in.

'Not pronouncing "saxophone star" clearly.' He looked down, clearly embarrassed. You burst out into laughter at remembering that spectacle and so did the other boys.

'You mean "sexy porn star"?' Y/n said jokingly and he pouted at her with his famous boxy grin.

It was Namjoon's turn next and he asked for a truth. 'Why don't you like mint chocolate ice cream?' Y/n asked him and he groaned at her, going on a rant about how 'sacrilegious' it was.

As the debate got loud and heated -- y/n vouching for her favorite flavor -- Tae whispered in your ear, 'Are you ok? You've been acting strange lately.'

'I'm fine Tae. Don't worry about me,' you replied coldly and looked away, although you felt an uneasy churning of your stomach at your half-truth.

Namjoon finally finished his rant with them agreeing to disagree, and it was Jungkook's turn. Dope came on and Namjoon and y/n said in sync, 'Eoseo wa, bangtaneun cheoeumiji?' and started laughing.

Jungkook chose dare and Y/n struck again, 'This is one of my ultimate favorite dances of yours, will you...?' She didn't finish when Jungkook hopped up and started dancing his heart out to it.

Jimin and Hobi got up and broke out into dance with him, and before you knew it, Jin was moving the chairs out of the way, Namjoon showed y/n to the sofa for a prime viewing location, and Tae was pulling you up to dance too.

I was tired before but this has definitely woken me up. You thought as you got into it and went all out with your performance, not at all trying to impress anyone.

Y/n's POV

I can't believe they just busted out into dance like that. You thought as you bopped along to Dope while watching the boys do what they love most, utterly mesmerized. They really went all out and even sang their parts. It felt so special that these boys who you have looked up to for the past few years actually cared about you that much to give you a full performance. They were all looking right at you while dancing too, making your heart flutter uncontrollably.

They are so cool... Why do I want to join in so badly? I can't even dance...

You sang along with parts of it too. You felt so blessed to be there and so at peace as you watched their bodies move gracefully and listened to their gorgeous voices. Jimin forgot a few parts of it and stumbled. Your laugh wiped away any of his embarrassment.

I really hope Yoongi's shoulder is ok. You thought to yourself as you watched his intense dancing in awe.

The passion for what they do is so abundant, and you really admired that about them. It made you think about your passion. Although you may not be able to get up and rock a stage like them, you sure can rock an Invention Convention like it's no one's business.
