Y/n POV:

" Yeontan!!!!" I carried him up and kissed his nose. He is so cute!!!! " I just want to adopt you so bad, but I can't since my aunt doesn't want pets in the house. I hope one day someone will adopt you. They will be so lucky to have you. I would be super jealous."

" Pfft. No you wouldn't because you have me," Seojun smirked.

" No way like I'll ever go out with you," I went the opposite way.

" Playing hard to get huh?"

I looked back at him and showed me my ugly face. The only thing I hate about working here is that he's here.

" Hey leave Y/n alone or I'll kill you," Taehyung grunted.

" What? You're not her boyfriend. He's not even here to tell me off. So I can do whatever I want."

" You little...," his hand balled into a fist. " I swear if you lay a finger on her you're dead."

" Oh I'm so scared," he sarcastically said and left.

" Thank you Taehyung."

" No need. That's what friends do," he smiled. " Is your ankle good by the way?"

" Yeah it's getting better. It doesn't hurt that much since that day."

" You sure?"

" Yeah."

I pulled him into a hug and we stayed like that for 3 minutes. I don't know why but I guess I needed someone's comfort. I miss Jungkook deeply and it hurts that he's not here with me. As I look up Taehyung all he does is smile. That's one of the reasons I like him. His smile. Everyone has a unique smile but for some reason his smile is different. Talking about smiles. I miss Jungkook's smile. Two years is so long.

" Are you okay? You look deep in thought," he played with my hair. I move away from him and nodded like an idiot.

" Did I do something wrong?"

" N-no y-you didn't." WHY AM I STUTTERING?!!! AND MY FACE IS RED!!!

Taehyung's POV:

She's so cute. I can't believe she's blushing right now. Whatever I'm doing is working even if I didn't intend to do anything. Did I go too far with the hair? What should I do?

" Well I have to go feed the animals, would you help me?"

" Sure," I went to the food center and grabbed the heavy dog food bag as Y/n grabbed the kitty food cans from the cabinet and other tiny foods for the other pets.

" Aren't they all cute," Y/n pet them as they ate.

" Yeah..." My eyes only focused on her. How can someone be so beautiful? Her smile? Her scent? Everything about her is perfect.

" Tae-Taehyung..." then I realized that I was hugging her from the behind. My arms were wrapped around her waist and my head rested on her shoulder. I released her and left to the bathroom.

The reflection showed my face red and for some reason the room went hot. I tried to cool myself. Am I coming of a fever? I watered my face and inhaled and exhaled. What will Y/n think?

You're doomed. You're such an idiot. Why did you do it?
