Y/n POV:

The bench was warm as I waited for Taehyung to meet me here since he asked me to. I went through our text messages:

Tae😝:
Meet me at my bench.

Me:
Alright. By the bus stop right?

Tae😝:
Yeah that one.

Me:
Okay. I just want to know why you want to meet up.

Tae😝:
Wait... so I can't meet up with my friend.

Me:
Oh
🤣🤣🤣
Of course you can. I don't even know why I asked.

Tae😝:
I'll see you later 😘

Why did he put that emoji?

I guess he wanted to let me know that I'm loved. Awww he's so nice.

We had school in about 30 minutes. He came running. His white t-shirt was soaked which revealed his bare chest. His wet hair was covering his face, but as he flipped it, he was smoking hot.

No!!!! Stop. He's just really good looking in general.

" Hey, I'm here," he was breathing heavily.

" Why are you wet? Is that sweat?"

" What?! No, I took a shower before and I forgot to dry my hair."

I pulled out my towel. ( I always bring a towel to school just in case when my hair gets wet.) I went up to him and started to dry his hair. He has such nice silky hair. Man, I wish I had soft hair.

" Thank you, but I could do the rest," his manly hand grabbed my wrist.

" No problem. Let's go to school."

As I was walking, I didn't hear Taehyung following me. He was just standing there with his head down.

" Why were you upset?"

" What?"

Is he talking about that day?

" When?"

" That day we ate ice cream. The day I twisted my ankle."

" I just got a bad grade."

" Stop lying to me. I know you. When you get a failing grade, you raise your chin up and say ' I'll get the next one'. What happened?"

He remembers that.

" I can't. I just can't talk about it. It pains my heart to even think about." I don't want to think about him in the morning. Having afternoon classes is already a headache for me.

" Y/n. I care about you a lot. You can trust me. I'm here for you."

His eyes were telling me to let out all my problems.

" I like Jungkook and I told him my feelings and the next thing I knew I got shut down. After that I just couldn't..." my tears came out gushing. My feelings are uncontrollable.

" I don't know what to say, but I'm always here for you. If you need someone's shoulder to lay your head on, it's me. Y/n, if he rejected you then he doesn't deserve you," his strong arms wrapped around my waist. " I'm always going to be with you."

For some reason, I felt more safe in his arms. His deep soothing voice calmed down my nerves. I want to stay like this forever. This feels different. I feel different. I look up at him and smiled. I'm glad to have a friend like him. 

" Shall we get going. School is about to start in a few."

" AHHHH! we have less than 5 minutes," we dashed to school.
