Taehyung's POV

That day me and Y/n shared our first real kiss makes my heart flutter. Y/n asked me out a month after her break up with Jungkook. I told I love her, but I wanted to do this right. I needed to talk to Jungkook. Seojun and Jaylee tried to stop me and told me it wasn't necessary. I just want to talk to Jungkook.

" Are you really going to see him?" Y/n asked as Yeontan barked around us

" Yes I am. He's my friend," she went silent for a second. I pulled her into a hug. " Trust me." I waved goodbye to her and the others.

I walked up to his front door and quietly knocked. Of course he didn't hear that... I was kinda nervous, so I just sat on his porch. All I thought was... what should I say? What was I going to say? Why am I here? Then something hard impacted with my spine.

" Owwwwww..." as I looked back, I found Jungkook with a surprise look on his face which turned into a sad solemn one. He walked past me and sighed.

" Why are you here?"

" Um so I could talk to you..."

" What's there to talk about?"

" You know with..."

" With my ex."

"..."

" I hate calling Y/n my ex. Like the word 'ex's makes me feel stupid. Not only that, it reminds me of how short our relationship was. How I lost her to you so quickly." He grunted as he shoved his hands in his pockets. " I hate that she's not mine. I hate it so much. So much that I-"

Suddenly he punched me in the guts and forced all his anger near a light pole. I guarantee in pain and watched Jungkook act out. I know that pain. The pain of not being with the person you love the most. The pain of never getting them to notice you anymore. But I couldn't say any of that. I'm in no place to say those words that would anger him more. Was it wrong? Was it wrong for me to still have these lingering feelings for Y/n when my friend was the one who got his heart broken? I got up and patted his back.

" Why are you here? What do you want from me?"

" I don't know."

" What do you mean?"

" For some reason I wanted to talk to you."

" About her."

" Yeah her.... she asked me out."

" And?"

" I said no..." before I could finish my sentence he grabbed my neck and started to choke me.

" Are you stupid?! She broke up with me to be with you and you said NO!!!!! What the hell?! What's wrong with you? Y/n fell for you thinking you will accept her and you said no. You little piece of sh-"

" St-Stop." He let go and punched me in the guts again. " You didn't let me finish."

" I said no not yet. I love her. I really do. But it doesn't feel right to just say yes to her when you, my friend, got heart broken. I didn't want to say yes knowing that it was okay with you."

" Do you think it's okay with me?"

I'm regretting my decision now.

"..."

" Just be with her already."

" Huh?"

" You heard me. I said date her already. You're slow like always Taehyung." He chuckled and patted my back. His mood just changed. " You didn't listen to me that day did you?"

" That day? Oh. Yeah. I couldn't hear you."

" I said make her happy. You are a good person and I trust you enough to be with her. Yeah it's hard for me to say this, but I truly believe that you could make her happier than I ever could.... *sigh* Jimin and I had a talk before. He knew both of us liked her. I told him if it ever came to the decision of either of us, and she chose you... I would be fine with it. Y/n deserves everything. Please make her happy. Don't worry about me. I'm glad she's going to be with someone I knew and trust."

All I could do was bow. I wanted to hug him but I felt like I was going to get hit again. Instead he hugged me and smirked.

" Be careful around her. She might be a little feisty." Then dirty thoughts appeared in my head. NOOOOOOOO WHERE'S THE HOLY WATER?!!!! " Stop thinking dirty Taehyung. I meant it as how hard she can be when it comes to dating."

" N-No I wasn't."

" Don't lie to me. Your face was red a minute ago," he laughed. " Hey how about we hang out sometimes with Jimin before I leave."

" Sure."

The Next Day -

" Yes."

" What?"

" I'm answering your question."

" ..."

" You're so clueless Y/n. I love you so much. This is taking my pride away but I would love to date you and make you mine," I pulled her into a kiss. The most passionate kiss I would give her on our official relationship. We kissed as time slowed down for us.

" I love you Y/n. I'll make you the happiest girl in the world."

" I love you too Taehyung. I will always be by your side."

This was our beginning. The beginning of our love. The beginning of something wonderful. The moments I would have with her would be the ones I would cherish forever until death.

" You will always be by my side huh?"

" I'm right here aren't I?"
