I tightened the silk sheets around me loving the feeling of them against me. I could stay in this bed forever. As quickly as that thought came as if a alarm went off in my head I quickly opened my eyes. Anele didn't have any silk sheets. Matter of fact she hated them she claimed they weren't warm enough and she couldn't sleep unless she felt warm enough whether it was hot or cold.

Where am I. I quickly closed my eyes as events of last nights flooded my mind. Fuck. I sat up removing the sheets from my half naked body and quietly got off the big empty bed. Good he wasn't here. Just as quickly as my legs touched the floor my face greeted the floor with a thump. I held my breath refraining from throwing profanities at the floor.

I stood to my feet my eyes quickly scanning the room getting really acquainted with it even though I did look at it last night which didn't really count seeing as I was very much distracted. I couldn't find my clothes but I could see my phone on the night stand, I don't remember taking it out of my purse because it was clearly not in my purse and my purse was nowhere in sight.

I slowly walked towards my phone the soreness in between my legs reminding me of my recent activities. I quickly called my friend telling her to quickly come get me by tracking my phone because I wasn't too sure where I was. Serenity would kill me.

Always know your surrounding.

I looked at the big shirt over my body and decided it was good enough. Now even though I was distracted I would never forget to scout my surroundings, especially looking at the quickest ways out. I didn't have enough time to look for my panties, I wanted to get out before the man came back not that I didn't want to see his face again I just wanted to dissappear.

I quickly made my way downstairs limping all the way down. If I wasn't in such a hurry and freaking out I would have laughed at myself. I froze in my movements hearing a scream burst through the house. My first instinct was to help, I couldn't help that instinct but the other overwhelming one was to run. She would kill me if I went with mine. She drilled it into my head. Made sure I understood she would kill me if I ever let my emotions get the better of me in a dangerous situation.

I stood frozen for a second. Analyzing the stairs as thoughts rushed over my mind. It was a man. His screams- to be more specific his begging rang throughout the house, he sounded so terrified. Fuck. I felt my heart tear at the pain in his voice, I wanted to help. I needed to help. The house seemed vacant at the moment, but when we got here last night it wasn't so. The screams then stopped as a single gun shot rang throughout the house. He was dead. Anyone could tell. Run.

And so without another thought I fucking ran. I ran surpassing the pain coming between my legs and focused at the task at hand. I wasn't too worried about the guards at the gate I was confident I could take them. Plus I noticed last night that one of them had a bad leg, I could use that to my advantage if it came to that. I almost slipped on the perfectly trimmed grass as I crouched down still running.

There were more guards outside than before. Six. Scattered around. So I had to be extra careful. I didn't dare look at the guns they carried. I took my chance as I saw a car by the gate, I was so close. I watched the magnificent big gates open. I was fucking lucky because even I couldn't climb those gates. It was clear that when they were shut no one was to go in or out. I quickly got underneath the car holding on, I just needed to be out of the gates.

The driver wasn't speeding because he was about to exit the gates so I wasn't alarmed yet. I quickly let go before he could pick up his speed protecting my head with my hands as I rolled off the road. I didn't stop I stood up and walked as fast as I could the otherway. What just happened. It wasn't long before a speeding Mercedes was slowing down next to me. I didn't hesitate, I got in strapping on my seat belt.
