After my shower I went over to my closet to find an outfit, I have no idea what we are doing today so I decided to pick something that's easy and I can move in. I decided to go with an Aztec crop top, high wasted shorts, combat boots, and a pair of sunglasses.
I looked at the clock and it was almost noon so I left my hair straight, and put on a light amount of makeup. By the time I was done, it was a minute past noon so I went downstairs and saw Drew sitting on the couch in the living room with Carter.
"Hey Carter" I said as I sat down in between him and Drew.
"So I heard you and Drew are going out" Carter said.
I looked over at Drew and he just shrugged. "Yeah, is that okay?" I asked Carter.
"Yeah, sure Parker. Just be home for dinner" Carter said and with that he got up and walked out of the living room.
"What was that about?" I asked Drew.
"Oh, nothing. I was just telling him we were going out, and asked if I could borrow his car."
I looked at him confused. "Um, okay. So where are we going?" I asked him.
"It's a surprise" Drew said. I groaned. "Come on let's go before we are late"
He grabbed my hand and dragged me outside toward Carter's car and he opened up the passenger's side door and helped me in. A couple seconds later he got in on the driver's side. He backed out of the drive way and we were heading down the street.
"You can put the radio on if you want" Drew said breaking the silence.
"You could tell me where we are going" I said back.
"Why would I do that? It would ruin the surprise" Drew said.
I hate surprises. "Whatever" I groaned back. I turned on the radio before he could say anything back but I could still hear him chuckling. He does that a lot. I guess my anger humors him.
10 minutes later we are pulling in a parking lot of a big warehouse. "What is this place?" I asked Drew.
"You'll see" Drew said.
He took my hand in his and led us both into the building. "Are you trying to murder me?" I asked. "Because this is the kind of place to do it."
Once inside there was a middle aged man behind a desk reading a book. When he heard us approach he set down his book and looked up at us.
"Hello, welcome to 'The Warehouse of Fun'" the man said. He looked at Drew. "You must be Drew, the young fellow that called earlier"
"That's me" Drew said with a smile. I looked over at him and raised my eyebrow in question.
"Well first thing first I have the rock wall set up for you" the man said as he started walking towards the double doors on the other side of the small entrance.
Drew and I followed the man through the doors and once on the other side I saw where the 'Fun' in the 'Warehouse of Fun' comes from. The place was huge and it was filled with all kinds of activities. There was the rock wall, a roller skate rink, trampolines, go karting, and more. I looked around in awe, this is going to be fun. I am a very competitive person, and Drew was in for a treat.
"You know I could be scared of heights" I said to Drew as the man was setting up for us to start climbing.
"Well while you were in the shower, I asked Carter for any suggestions on where to take you. He wasn't very helpful, but when I suggested this place he said that it would be perfect." Drew said as the man was putting the harnesses around me. "He also said you weren't afraid of anything, and you were very competitive"
