My Brothers and I

Chapter 2-First Impressions

I'm rummaging through my closet finding the perfect outfit when I hear the doorbell ring. I hurry up and put my outfit on. I went with a sky blue sun dress that shows off a lot of leg and cleavage. I've been hiding it in the back of my closet so my brothers wouldn't see it.

They would never approve of something like this, but I feel sexy in this dress and I don't want Andrew to think of me as some little kid that her brothers control.

I but on some makeup for a natural look, I don't want it to look like I'm trying too hard. Just as I'm finishing up my makeup Carter calls me down to dinner.

I take one last look in my mirror and feel confident. I know I'm not ugly, but I know I'm not drop dead gorgeous. I'm average I guess you could say. My hair is an average brown color, and it hangs straight all the way down to my waist, and I also have the same pale blue color eyes, and my dress makes them pop out. I'm shorter than the average girl 17 year old girl, at around 5'3, but my attitude make up for the height difference.

I move my dress around making sure it's on right, once I'm satisfied with my look, I head downstairs.

When I walk into the dining room everyone's back is turned toward me except Andrews and his jaw drops when he sees me. My brother's must have seen his expression change and turned around to see what he was looking at. When my brother's eyes landed on me all you could see was anger.

"No, no, no" Mason, Connor, and Nathan said at the same time.

"No what?' I asked innocently

"You know exactly what Parker" Connor said

"Where did you even get that dress" Nate said.

"Go upstairs and change now" Mason said.

I rolled my eyes, I'm so sick of them telling me what to do. I zoned them out and moved my attention over to Andrew who was just standing there with a smile on his face. He was even hotter than he was in his pictures. He caught me staring at him and his smile grew even bigger. He had a dimple on both sides of his cheeks, and it was so adorable. We were both staring at each other until I was picked up and lifted into the ar.

I looked down and I was being carried up the stairs by Finn. After protesting for him to put me down, he finally threw me down on top of my bed. So far for good first impressions I thought.

"What is wrong with you" I asked him in disbelief.

"What's wrong with me? I should be asking you that Parker!" he yelled "What are you wearing"

"A dress" I said casually.

"Don't do this Parker, I don't have time for this." He said. "Just please put something else on, something that covers your whole body please"

"Why what's wrong with what I'm wearing?" I asked

"It's not appropriate for a causal dinner with the family. Just throw on some sweats. Please Park I'm begging you." Finn said.

"I think I'm being pretty fair about this. If anyone else brought you up here they would take that dress off you and burn it." He said. "Lucky for you I'm going to let you keep it."

And with that he walked out of the room back downstairs. Urgh! Why do they always have to control my life? I should be able to pick out my own clothes, but with me being the good girl I am, I change.

I throw on an old t-shirt and a pair of short jean shorts, and then I go back downstairs. Everyone is already sitting down and started eating without me.

I plopped down into my chair next to Finn and Connor and Finn leans down and whispers into my ear "Thank you for changing"

I didn't say anything back, just grunted and rolled my eyes. We sat in silence as we ate, having small talk here and there.

The school year just ended a week ago, and its finally summer vacation. I will be a junior next year and the triplets, and Andrew will be seniors. As I'm sitting there thinking about what my summer will be like someone said my name and I looked up to see everyone staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Andrew is tired from his flight, do you think you could show him up to his room. We all have some stuff that we need to do" Carter said.

"Sure thing" I said.

Everyone got up and left the room until it was just me and Andrew sitting at the table. I looked over to see him staring at me.

"I'm sorry about earlier, my brothers can be very controlling" I said.

He looked at me for a few seconds before he spoke "Its fine Parker, I can understand why they are so protective of you" Andrew said.

"And why is that?" I ask

'You are a very beautiful girl, they just don't want to see you get hurt. I just get this feeling when I'm around you that you need to be protected" he said.

I blushed and looked away embarrassed. Do I look weak? Does it look like I can't handle things? I asked myself.

He noticed me looking upset and hurried up and said "Not in a b-bad way in a good way" he stuttered. "Sorry I shouldn't have even said anything. I didn't mean to upset you. You aren't weak" he said.

"Its fine Andrew I understand" I said.

"Drew" he said. "You can call me Drew. That's what all my friends call me"

"Okay then Drew, are you ready to see your room?" I asked

He nodded and he went over to his luggage and I followed him to help him. We both went to grab his bag at the same time and our hands touched, and I looked up at him and he looked at me and we just stood there looking into each other's eyes.

He finally broke the stare. "I got it" he said

I started to walk up the stairs and he followed behind me. I walked down the long hallway past my bedroom and then to his bedroom hidden in the corner. I opened the door and walked in.

The room was the about the same size as mine, but it had more mutual colors. The bed was already made, and I turned around to see Andrew walking around the room.

"Do you like it" I asked.

"Yeah, it's great thank you Parker for showing me" he said

"Sure, the closet is right there" I pointed to the door on the left "And that right there is the bathroom we will share" I said as I pointed to the door on the right.

"We will talk about shower times, and stuff like that when you are done unpacking and had a nap" I said

"Shower times?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Yes shower times! I like to take showers at a certain time during the day, and sometimes I take multiple showers a day" I said. "I don't want you to be in the shower during the time I like to be in the shower, so we will work out a schedule"

"Sure thing" he said with a smile.

"I'll see you later, have fun unpacking" I said as I walked into the bathroom and into my room next door.

I went and laid down onto my bed with a huge smile on my face. God he is more perfect then I thought! I said to myself. As I'm laying in my bed I slowly start to fall asleep thinking about Drew.
