Chapter 4

We rinsed our plates off and set them in the sink. Then we headed to her room. We talked for a while about which music we listened to and our siblings and stuff.

"I am an only child unless you include my dog, and I listen to Lost in Kostko," I said.

"I have 3 siblings but they're all at their friend's house and I listen to them too," Andrea said.

"Oh, cool, what are their names?" I said.

"Their names are Lucas, Anna, and Carter and Carter is a girl and she's the youngest, she's 7 and Anna is 11 and Lucas is 15." "They are all annoying in my opinion,"she said.

I laughed and I can relate to that because my dog can be annoying.

My mom called us down for dessert about an hour later.

" Girls come down it's time for dessert and it's cheesecake ," my mom said.

"It better not be chocolate, my mom knows how much I don't like chocolate, but I love strawberry that's my favorite," I said to Andrea as we were going down the stairs.

We sat down at the table and our mom's delivered the cheesecake and "thank gosh," I thought as my mom set down my plate on the table," it was strawberry, yes," I thought as I looked down at my plate.

It was gone in about 5 minutes and Andrea finished her's before me and I was like "Jeez."

We put our plates in the sink and then we went back upstairs and as we were entering Andrea's room my mom called me and said " Dakota don't get to comfy we have to go soon so we can sign you up for day classes at college."

"Mom do we have to and first can we figure out which college Andrea goes to because I don't wanna be alone at school for another 4 years if my life," I said to my mom.

"Hey Dakota I have an extra bed if you wanna be roomies, if you go to the same college as me," Andrea said to me as I was walking out of her room.

"Ok, so what college are you going to currently," I said." Santa Monica University," she replied.
