Cyndi handed everyone a piece of bread and a plate of spaghetti. "Thanks Mom," Tyler and Mayra said at the exact same time, I laughed. "Thanks," everyone said as soon as Cyndi sat down.

"So....Tyler how old are you?" my Dad asked Tyler.

"19 and a half" Tyler replied.

"When's your birthday Tyler?" my mom asked Tyler.

"October 18th, Mrs. Falls," Tyler replied.

Tyler grabbed my hand and he squeezed and I guess that was the signal that we were going to tell our parents.

Tyler cleared his throat and he spoke "umm, Dakota and I are dating and I know this is kind of sudden and I know we just met but, we have a lot in common and we like each other a lot."

Mayra clapped and said "bravo, bravo, I knew it was going to be love at first sight."

"So, Dakota how old are you?" Cyndi asked.

"19 and a half and my birthday is October 11," I replied.

"Oh, that's nice and you are really age close to Tyler." Cyndi replied.

"So how long have you guys known each other?" our parents asked.

"Well, I kind of met Tyler on a show so you know the typical way of meeting somebody," I said.

"Oh that's nice," my mother and Cyndi said to me.

Tyler giggled and spaghetti flew across the table "I just we should've gone with pizza."

We all laughed and we all had a couple noodles fly out of are mouths and across the table.

We all finished the rest of our dinner in silence.

Tyler finished first and then me. We rinsed our plates off and put them in the dishwasher and we ran upstairs hoping our parents didn't see us.

We got into his room and we were both very relieved. He said to me "Wow that was a close one."

"Yeah, we got lucky, totally," I replied.

"When are you planning on going home?" he asked me.

"I don't know probably soon, though," I replied.

"Maybe I could walk home with you because, you are only next door," he suggested.

We both bursted out laughing and we had no clue why we laughed even more.

"We should probably get going if we want to go without our parent's noticing we left because they are still at the table probably talking about us," I said as he stared at me.

"Yeah, we should probably go soon because after I said that to our parents they acted very weird and to be honest it's kinda' creeping me out," Tyler replied.

He walked up to his bed and sat next to me on the foot of the bed next to me and kissed me, on the lips.
