Chapter 5.5

This chapter is mainly gonna be texting. This is also a filler, Rin's pov from last chapter. Meant to post this yesterday but I fell asleep. Enjoy.

Rin P.O.V~

It's been three days since Hiro told me to stop texting her, I'm pretty sure she's still mad. Or so I thought until my phone chimed notifying me of a new text. In hopes that it was Hiro I jumped out of my desk chair, stubbing my pinkie toe in the process, and ran to my bed, desperately searching for my phone. I finally found it and was not disappointed, Hiro texted me.

"YOSH" I fist pump, Sousuke rolled his eyes, used to my awesomeness. I read the text in her beautiful sweet voice.

H- "RinRin"
H- "I'm sorry for not telling you the truth"
H- "But now I'm going to be completely honest with you"
H- "I love you Rin"

I could not believe what I was reading. I reread her texts about ten times until Sousuke got worried.

"What do you keep gawking at" he asks, he walks up behind me and looks at my phone. "What are you waiting for, tell the girl how you feel" he said, clearly irritated. I ran through what I should say and how the conversation would go. I would tell her how I feel and she'll be all cute and say "you do?"

R- "...Hiro..."
R- "I..."
R- "I've loved you this entire time"

The second I hit send the typing bubble showed up. God I'm so anxious for her reply. Oh but what if I ask her our and she says no because Haru. Wait a minute, I can't go out with her, she's my little sisters best friend, and my best rivals big sister.

"Just say 'fuck it'" Sousuke said from his desk. "Don't give a damn about them" he finished. How did he know what I was thinking, there's only one way.

"Oh my god, you can read minds. Quick what am I thinking of right now" I said. Don't think about Hiro, he'll guess that. Sousuke rolled his teal eyes.

"You're probably thinking about Hiro in a wedding dress" damn he got it right. "You think out loud, you should really work on that. Some of your thoughts are pretty embarrassing" he said bluntly. I blushed recalling the plethora of things that fall under "embarrassing."

I heard a chime from my phone and immediately looked at the message.

H- HAHAHAHAHAHA
H- I KNEW YOU LIKED HER NII-SAN

Holy sweet mother Teresa on the hood of a Mercedes Benz it was Gou the entire fucking time.

R- Gou! I swear to god I will cOME OVER THERE AND FORCEFULLY RUFFLE YOUR HAIR

Nice threat Rin, nice threat.

"That was a bitch ass threat Rin, a bitch ass threat" Sousuke interjected again.

H/G- Nuuuuuuuuu
G- I won't let you anywhere near my hair.
G- Text me on my number I have an idea ψ(｀∇')ψ

I don't know if I should trust Gou or not. Finally she starts texting me on her number.

G- This Saturday Hiro and I may or may not be at your favorite mall. We may or may not be at Rina's Salon around 2 p.m 😉

R- I may or may not coincidentally be at the salon at 2 p.m on Saturday

G- I may or may not ditch you two to spend the weekend with Sei-san, don't be a loser. Ttyl

"I'm not a loser" I accidentally say out loud.

"I wouldn't say loser" Sousuke replied. "More like crybaby" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and counted the seconds until I would see Hiro on Saturday.

I wore a loose shirt with a vest and skinny jeans. I waited outside the salon, they still haven't shown up yet. I feel really awkward just waiting here, but they'll come Rin, don't worry. Gou wouldn't lie to you and make you look like an idiot.

"Kid, I don't allow loitering, you either come inside or go away" a tall white-haired lady shouted from inside the salon. Fearing getting forcefully removed from the premises I went inside. A cheery blonde haired girl was at the counter. I smiled politely and somehow I got roped into getting dark red highlights.

Two middle aged women walked in and also got their hair styled. I was waiting for the dye to set and overheard the two talking. I don't even remember what happened but somehow they invited me to get a back massage and our nails done. Trying not to seem rude I accepted, plus it was free so why not.

In the middle of my pedicure Hiro and Gou finally showed up- wait I can't let them see me like this. Especially Hiro if she saw me like this I might as well give up all chances I had with her.

Luckily Hiro is an amazing person and looked past all my...unfavorable moments. Gou made me promise something. She said that when she leaves I have to make a move on her, because this might be my only chance. I promised myself too, before the end of the night I will kiss Hiro, and she'll know how I feel.
