Chapter 13

I walked to the same park Rin took me after we went shopping, that's where Nagisa said they were. It brought back both childhood and recent memories. There wasn't a lot of people, just an elderly lady feeding the birds, and a young couple having a picnic. Cute. It was a really nice day today, there weren't many clouds and there was a nice breeze. It was just peace and quiet.

"Hiro-kun!" And there goes the peace and quiet. The small blonde came running up to me and wrapped his legs around my skinny frame. "I'm looking for Rei-chan, help me find him" he pouted and I couldn't help but say yes. "Yay" he cheered, "the boundaries are the lake, and the fast food place across the street" he jumped off me and ran in the direction of the fast food restaurant.

"I guess I'll be near the lake" I said and decided to take my time. Nagisa could find Rei in no time. Nagisa could find anyone in no time.

"Hiro-san?" I heard a voice call out. I looked to the bush that was next to me. Bushes can't speak, right?

"Did you say something bush-san" I asked.

"Hiro-kun" I heard Nagisa call out, he must've found Ryugazaki-san. I was immediately pulled into the bush.

"What're you doing, bush-san" I asked.

"Shhhhhh" a hand covered my mouth. Last time I checked bushes don't have hands, they also don't speak. "He might hear us" the voice said again. I looked and saw the owner of the hand had familiar red-rimmed glasses.

"Ryugazaki-san" I shouted, on accident of course. I knew I wasn't going crazy and talking to bushes. The crazy blonde sadly heard me and easily captured the blue-haired male. "Gomen, Ryugazaki-san" I said, sincerely feeling bad that he was caught in such a pitiful way.

He sighed, "it's okay, Hiro-san. A-and you can call me by my first name" he blushed a bit.

"R-Rei-kun" I tried it out. It sounds better like this.

"Looks like Rin-chan won" Nagisa stated. This took me by surprise.

"Rin was playing too" I asked.

"Yeah he was in the park already so we asked him to join us. Surprisingly he agreed" Rei said. "Rin-san, come on out. You won" he called out. The red-head jumped down from the top of the tree in the middle of the park and ran toward us.

"Yosh" he fist-pumped. "The hide-and-seek king has arrived" he said with his arms opened wide. I rolled my eyes and being too embarrassed from the previous days events I stared at the grass.

"Another round" Nagisa declared and Rin obviously was it. I was already there so I might as well play. Rin covered his eyes and started counting to twenty. I quietly ran behind the ice cream stand. I told the shop keeper to tell me if he saw a guy who was 6.2 with teeth like a shark and cries when you call him bitchbaby.

I knew Rei and Nagisa were probably hiding together so I just had to pray Rin finds them first. I have my lookout so I think I'm fine. After about five minutes of waiting I decided to plug in my iPhone and listen to Nu'est and take a little nap.

I was woken from my dreamland by an annoying finger jabbing my arm. "Fuck off" I mumbled and the person laughed. I opened my eyes and saw the shark toothed bitchbaby grinning at me.

"I found you" he said in a sing-song voice. "The ice cream vender helped" he said and gave a thumbs up to the man I used to trust.

"Never trust an ice-cream man" I glared at him. Rin laughed and pinched my cheeks.

"C'mon," he got up and stretched his hand for me. "Let's ditch these two" he said, I thought about it for a minute. Rin and I do need to talk about things, plus my Reigisa ship isn't going anywhere if I don't intervene. I hesitantly gave him my hand and we immediately ran off to the beach.

Haru and I love the beach, it's such a nice and calming place. The second my bare feet touched the hot white sand I was in complete bliss. I let out a deep sigh and kneeled down to play with a passing crab. There was no noise but the sound of the rolling waves and a couple of families playing. That is until Nagisa decided to FaceTime me.

"Hiro-kun, it's been thirty minutes, did Rin find you yet" he whispered, he was someplace dark. Rin decided to take the phone from my hand, immediately after I heard yelling from Nagisa. "Stay strong Hiro! Rei will be a sacrifice we'll save you from Rin's evil clutches" he said before Rin ended the chat.

"Did you know that you sing in your sleep" he said randomly.

"Yea" I bluntly answered.

"Did you know I snore really loud" he continued.

"Yea"

"Did you know I had to wear Sousuke's swimsuit to practice one day and it fell off"

"Loser"

"Did you know that when we were younger I thought you were a guy"

"You were a girl"

"Do you know you're pretty"

"No"

"Did you know that I've wanted to kiss you ever since I realized you were a girl"

"..." it was awkward between us for a little while.

"Did you know that you're a bit of a bitch" he said quietly.

"You're rude" I said and he tossed me back my phone.

"You're acting like Haru. Ever since yesterday you haven't said more than five words to me" he sat down next to me and tried to get me to look at him. "If you want to pretend that nothing happened that's fine, but just-"

"Look, Rin, I have a lot of things going on right now. So if we could just drop the issue for a while" I asked. He nodded understandingly and it was awkward for like two minutes. Rin decided to entertain himself by building a sandcastle.

It was just a pile of sand with a weak twig on the top. "Look," he pointed like a five-year old child proud of his work. "It's for you," he said "hime-sama." I blushed at the nick-name.

"Don't call me that" I said.

"Aw," he pinched my cheeks "is my hime-sama upset. I can help you with your problems"

"Yea, emotional or physical" I muttered.

"Both" he said. This took me by surprise, he's not serious right. "I promise to solve as many of you problems as I can" he said and stuck out his pinky finger. I laughed and locked mine with his.

"Well first is the summer trip. We already have everything planned out we just need to buy all the things on this list," I said and handed him the scroll Kou gave me. He let out a bitter chuckle.

"Where are you guys going, the moon" he said sarcastically.

"As a matter of fact we're going to some death island" I said and lightly hit him with the scroll.

"Is it the same place you guys went last year" he lifted one of his eyebrows.

"I don't know, I wasn't here remember" I said. He got up and gave me his hand again. "Where are we going now" I laughed and took his hand.

"We're going to get everything on this list" he said and pulled me into his chest, on purpose or not I'll never know. "And then have some fun of our own" he winked and we started running towards the nearest store.

We got most of the things on the list and Rin said I should get a new bathing suit. I told him that we were all going shopping tomorrow for a new one. He promised that he would show up and personally buy one for me. I just laughed. We 'borrowed' one of the shopping carts and he pushed me around in the parking lot until we got yelled at by staff. It was getting late and Rin caught the last bus home while I decided to walk near the coast.

It's fun being with Rin, he gets my mind of things, but it's always nice to be alone and just think. Of course it's a bit hard when you're thinking about Rin.
