She woke up to low music, a dimly lit room, and a warm blanket.

She blinked her eyes open, rolling over with a groan, and nuzzling her face into the blanket. She was freezing, but saw the small glimmering of her forearms. She stretched out on the couch, before realizing that it was morning, and a Sunday.

She sat up, rubbing her face.

"..Sasuke...?"

She earned no response, and practically rolled off the couch, carrying the blanket along with her as she lazily made her way to the adjacent, closed door. She knocked politely, knowing he wasn't asleep, as the music was coming from his room.

"..Sasuke?"

There was shuffling sound coming from the other side, before the door opened to reveal a groggy-looking raven, who was wearing sweats and a tank top. He stared at her for a moment, as if registering her appearance.

He rose an eyebrow.

She held out the blanket, practically stuffing it in his face before letting it go. She turned to the right, making her way to her own door in the same lazy, wobbly manner.

She heard a scoff, and then she was spun around and face-to-face with her roommate, who pressed his forehead against hers, and shut his eyes, resting his hand on the back of her neck.

The warmth that flooded her entire being just then was unbelievable, and she couldn't help but close her eyes, too.

She felt the blanket drape over her shoulders, and subconsciously buried her warm, flushed face - which was probably how Sasuke had gotten the idea that she was sick - into the crook of his neck.

He grunted.

"..Sakura, go sleep."

Sasuke had been finishing a technology project - at seven-thirty in the morning, while listening to some weird music that for some reason he liked, - when there was a knock at his bedroom door.

He hadn't expected to see his roommate standing there with a dazed expression and a flushed face, but wasn't surprised to see that she was holding out a dark-blue blanket that was embedded with his clan's crest.

When she began walking away from him, the way she was walking was enough to make him realize that something was wrong, and it wasn't just the fact that she'd probably woken up seconds before.

He gently took her shoulder, spun her around, and placed his forehead on her own. Something his mother had always done for himself and his brother. She'd always say; "Sasuke, dear, you have a fever. Let's make some hot chocolate. How does that sound?"

He hadn't really felt like doing that until he was already trying to wrap his recently-acquired blanket over her shoulders, and he felt her burning skin on his neck.

He had to get his project done.

"..Sakura, go sleep."

"..but I just woke up."

He sighed, and, not wanting to mess with her feelings, - which were probably much different than they would be normally, now that she was sick - he shifted, and spoke;
