i was snacking on dango, and was like, y'know why not? it's hanami in the story anyway, so it fits.

The pinkette weaved through the pathways, walking right next to Hinata as the two explored the festival area. Both of them knew that the blond and raven were behind them, but were too entranced in their own little world to care.
The second they had stepped in, Ino had ushered them off into their respective partners with a mischievous expression, most likely trying to get people to start their own romances.
Both Sakura and Sasuke had wanted Naruto and Hinata to get together, but knew full well that neither would initiate anything without a little bit of help. The two had decided on setting them up somewhere, and leaving them abruptly, which was what they were planning to do after Sasuke gave Naruto a pep-talk.
You heard me right! The blondie likes the Hyuga, but he's too scared to tell her.
Sakura was busy distracting Hinata with the festive booths scattered all over the place. The two girls were laughing, smiling, and talking together as if they had known each other for years, and it was just what both of them needed to have fun.
Sakura pulled Hinata into a booth, and the two were suddenly talking about souvenirs and gifts for family and close friends. Sakura left Hinata alone in an aisle with the excuse to check something else out, but was really going to check on Sasuke.
She popped her head outside, her brows knitting together as she looked for him.
She caught him leaning against a miniature cherry blossom tree, his eyes closed as he listened to the children skipping around, having the time of their lives. She couldn't find Naruto, and skipped over to the Uchiha with a bewildered expression.
"Where's--"
"He was looking for you guys."
"Why?"
He opened his eyes, raising his eyebrows as he crossed his arms, a bemused expression plastered on his features. He responded calmly, "..Hinata."
She blinked, her eyes widening as he stood straight, tilting his chin towards the booth she'd just left. Her gaze switched there for just a moment, but she'd already caught a glimpse of her best friend, before her wrist was grasped gently and she was being dragged away.
To where, she had no idea.

"Sasuke."
No response
"Sasuke!"
Silence.
"Sasuke, where are w--"
Slam.
Her nose came into direct contact with his face, and she completely buzzed out reality as a yelp escaped her lips.
She crouched down on the floor, somehow being reminded of the incident when they'd first met just three weeks ago. She'd been peeking into the classrooms, too busy exploring the school, when the redhead - who she actually hadn't seen for a while now - had stopped Sasuke, ultimately leading to Sakura and a bloody nose.
Although this time, they were moving much faster.
And it hurt a lot more.
The pinkette cursed repeatedly, narrowing her eyes at the ground. Just moments passed, when a drop of thick redness fell through her fingers, landing on the pathway with a quiet plop. Her eyes widened.
