JAUDAH'S POV
For the past week, I've been busy with my classes. My life is not as boring as it used to be and I spend most of my time practicing new things I learned at school and on YouTube. Now I believe that the only thing I'm extremely good at is cooking 'cause my talent lies there. I have little time to chat with Zain nowadays 'cause he's always busy with work and I really don't know why he's such a workaholic. He has little time for himself not to talk of me, the only thing I'm happy about is that no matter how busy he is, he never reject my food and he always find time to eat what I cooked.

I was laying on our bed watching some YouTube videos when Zain walked in with a tasleem, I answered him and welcomed him home. He didn't seem moody today, he looks happy for a reason known to him. He nodded acknowledging my greetings before walking to the closet. I stood up and went out of the room to give him some privacy and I went to the living room and continued what I was doing. Minutes later, he came out dressed in only a white pyjamas with black flip flops looking dashing, as always.
I kept staring at him till he sat before me snatching away my phone that was about to fall.
"Concentrate on what you are doing and stop staring" he said smirking.
I lowered my gaze, embarrassed that he caught me openly staring at him, I gulped touching my now red cheeks.
"Are you blushing?" he asked slyly looking at me while smiling, and making me blush even harder to the extent that my ears are also red due to how hard I was blushing.
"Silly girl" he whispered, going through my phone. My heart leaped, beating faster than normal, I didn't want him to go through my chats. I know I don't have anything to hide but I'm sure when he sees my chats with Ya Faruq, he's going to question me about things I don't have answers to, at least not at the moment.
He kept smiling making me wonder what he's looking at. I tried taking a peek but he moved away so I couldn't see, I pouted while silently praying that he's not going through my chats, we sat quietly with him smiling from time to time and me praying he's not reading my chats. He later gave back my phone with the smile not disappearing from his cute handsome face, he stood up and went to dinning saying "come serve me, I'm starving" I stood up and followed him to the dinning and served him the food I made. I was about to leave when he called me back and asked me to sit.
He has the habit of making conversations when he's eating. I sat down not doing anything, he looked at me and asked "How have you been doing lately?" Even though I was surprised by his question, I still smiled and said "I'm doing good, thanks for asking".
"You don't have to thank me, it's my responsibility to know how you are doing anyways" he said taking another spoon of rice and nodding his head.
"Oh, so he knew his responsibilities?" My subconscious mind asked
"How are you coping with your classes?" he asked again.
"Good, I'm really enjoying it" I answered smiling.
"I'm glad you are enjoying your classes" he said, I only nodded, not knowing to say.
"I got a huge contract today" he said smiling widely while looking at me.
So that's the reason why he's excited.
"Congratulations I'm happy for you and I pray you get many more contracts" I said smiling, happy that my husband is making it.
He smiled, but didn't say anything for awhile, he finished his food before looking at me directly in the eye. I lowered my gaze, avoiding his intense gaze. I could still feel his eyes on me though.
