3rd person's POV
2 months later
It's been two months since Jaudah told Zain about her secret and everything she went through. He didn't say anything about it, instead he went back to being cold towards her, he started coming home late and leaving early. Jaudah has tried anything she could to talk to him so they can understand each other but she didn't get a chance, she was drained of all energy, she cried countless times in the confine of her room, she prayed to God so everything will be easy on her, she didn't bother telling Faruq how it went with her husband, she became sad, in other to keep her mind off the things that's happening around her she became busy, she's either in her culinary school or at home cooking or baking or reading, she became so lonely that it starts to show on her body, she has lost so much weight and has dark circles around her eyes due to lack of sleep.
She regret ever keeping what happened a secret right from the start, all she wants now is for Zain to talk to her even if he's going to scold her she won't mind, but unfortunately it's been a month that she stopped seeing Zain, he stopped coming home from work and she only heard it from Fareeda that Zain has been in Australia for a business trip, she felt sad and hurt that he didn't bother telling her he's traveling.
Knowing for a fact that sulking, crying and thinking won't help her cause it's draining her energy and she's becoming insane day by day due to the fact that she has no one to talk to about her pain, she went to her therapist and told her what she's been going through and she advised her on how to keep herself sane and gave her some drugs. Her admission was out and surprisingly she saw an alert with a message from an unknown foreign number to use the money for her registration, she was so happy knowing it's from Zain, how he knew she got admission only God knows, but for some reason she knows he still cares for her and that made her feel a little at ease.
She did her registration, process everything and started attending school a week after her graduation from culinary school which some of her families were able to attend. She started studying Mass Communication, surprisingly all her friends also got admission, she's studying the same course with Fifi and Aysha while Kausar is studying Law which is her dream course. Fareeda, Zain's sister is also attending the same school with them but she's in her second year and also studying Mass Communication. Jaudah finds comfort and love in the midst of her friends while in school, but whenever she's back home she dreads the silence that surrounds her which always reminds her how lonely she is in such a big mansion with no one to talk to except Sandra whenever she's on duty which she's mostly not around when Jaudah gets back home.
ZAIN'S POV
"Can you get the jet ready, I'm done with my business here and I'm going back today", I spoke to my pilot through the phone who assured me that he will call back when he's ready and set to go.
It's a month since I left home without saying goodbye to my wife Jaudah and two months since I stopped talking to her, I'm not mad about the fact that she was nearly raped by some unknown idiot, all I'm mad about is the fact that she used me, she used me to overcome her fears without putting my own feelings into consideration, I couldn't vividly remember me being adamant about not getting married to her but she was so stubborn to the extent that she found a way to convince our parents that I agreed to the marriage, which I didn't.
I married her out of no choice, at first I don't love her, I detest her presence, but gradually I developed feelings towards her and now that I am ready to give our marriage a chance, to love and support her like no one will she decided to blow up everything by telling me that she just used me for her fears.
Honestly it hurts badly to know that she married me because of something she wants not because she loves me and because of that I promised myself I won't feel the pain alone and that's why I decided to ignore her so that she can learn her lesson and for all I know she has learnt it the hard way. I'm pretty sure she has learned her lesson and won't try such next time.
