Dongju would be lying if he'd say that he ain't nervous even a bit. Here he is, making his way to the faculty room to ask his adviser for his class schedules. Being a new student who doesn't have any friends to be with, he had no choice but to do things for the day on his own. His fraternal twin brother, Dongmyeong, also studies here in RBW high. He's been here for years while during those times, Dongju was being home schooled. And knowing that his brother won't be agreeing to help him out, he never asked for his help anymore.
His parents never wanted him to be shown out or exposed to the public too much and he doesn't even know why, but to his surprise, their father finally let him go to an actual school. He's so clueless about what are the reasons behind the huge difference of the way that everyone treats him and his brother. He didn't bother to complain or say a word about it, thinking that it was going to be okay. Well, he hoped that everything will be okay for him but I guess he was wrong. The students threw weird, disgusted and uninterested looks at him all the time as he passed them by. He'd get to hear them whispering bad things about him but he decided to ignore them and pretend like he didn't hear anything though he was hurt and wanted to cry.
He took in a deep breath and blinked his eyes rapidly to prevent the threatening tears to fall down his cheeks. It's okay, Dongju... it's okay... He tries to cheer himself up and forced a smile on his innocent, handsome face. He entered the faculty room and approached the woman who was sitting on her table that was the nearest one to where he was standing. "E-excuse me, ma'am..." he called for her in a small voice that was loud enough for her to hear.
She stopped writing on her book and look at him. "Yes? May I help you?" she took off her glasses and settled it on top of her book.
"Uhm. I'm a new student and I just got transferred here yesterday. I wanted to ask if I am under your class and for my schedules also..." he politely said and the teacher nodded her head for a moment then her expression changed like she remembered something.
"Oh! Are you the new student, Son Dongju?" she asked as he let out a small, silent nervous laugh. "Yes, ma'am."
"I'm sorry, I forgot that I have a new student to handle. Anyways, hello, I'm Yoo Jeongyeon. I'm going to be your adviser for this school year and welcome to RBW high!"
Little did Dongju know, that this school isn't just any prestigious school, but also a place where his nightmare worsens.
It's been a week had passed since Dongju started his day at his new school and if you're wondering how was it... it was pathetic. He had a lot of haters and bullies already who's picking up on him from here and there. A guy named Kim Gunhak was one of his main bullies. He would beat him up if he'd fail on finishing his assignments that he forced him to do and ignore his cries. There were times that Dongmyeong would meet him coincidentally while he was being cornered but he only did something that a big brother won't do to his younger one, Dongmyeong ignored him.
He casually walked passed by him like he doesn't know him at all and didn't really care of whatever would happen to him. By that moment, Dongju was totally hurt a lot more emotionally, feeling so much betrayed. How could he do that to him? He is not the Dongmyeong that he knew. He had changed.

A piece of crumpled paper hit Dongju's head as soon as he entered the chaotic classroom. "Headshot! Hand on my 20 bucks, bitches!" one of his classmates named, Yonghoon cheered as he lend his hands out to collect the money from his friends. Harin and Kanghyun groaned, muttering forbidden words under their breath and handed their money to Yonghoon. "Great. We lost money. All thanks to that loser who pops out of nowhere like a creep." Harin glared at Dongju who kept his head low and walked to his seat.
Kanghyun was silent but clearly wasn't happy that he lost money too. "Oh, well, thanks to him, I got money!" Yonghoon shoved the money on his pocket. Dongju silently sighed and patiently waited for their teacher to arrive, ignoring the people name-calling him.
It's the only thing left for him to do since even if he'd ask for help, no one would listen to him. One day, his classmates told him to carry the books on their classroom and put it back to the library. And again, he had no choice but to stupidly follow their orders like a dog who's blindly very loyal and loving to his abusive owners even if they hurt him.
With the last set of thick and heavy books on his arms, he walked back to the library to put them back there and when he about to leave, he didn't mean to witness a nerdy guy who was being bullied by a group of guys. They threw punches and kicks at him before walking away like nothing happened. The people that were in charge of the library was nowhere to be seen and there's no more people there so no one was able to stop the incident.
Even if Dongju didn't want to interfere, he cautiously approached the guy, picking up some of his things and help him get up. "L-let me take you to the clinic." he said and the taller guy just nodded, feeling too tired and weak to even open his mouth to answer. He had been careful to him all the time until he successfully took him to the clinic to get treated.
"Is he... going to be f-fine?" he asked the nurse and she nodded. "Yeah, luckily, he didn't get any of his bones broken or cracked. His injuries will be healed and he'll recover soon after a lot of rest." she said then left to fix the things that she used to treat the beaten guy.
He stayed there for an hour and waited for the guy to wake up and when he did, he thanked him with a small smile. "D-do you mind if I ask for your name? I mean, it's okay if you don't—"
"It's Lee Keonhee."
