Days passed by and those days were better for Dongju than those usual ones. And guess what? He surprisingly made a new friend. The very first friend that he had after how many years he'd been living, feeling all alone.

"Lee Keonhee!" he called out for the taller guy who's sitting on a table under the shade of the umbrella trees, located on the nearby field of the school.

Yes, Lee Keonhee was the name of his one and only friend. He's from the next class after him and just like him, he's also been bullied by the other students there. Yet Dongju's experiencing even worse than him.

Keonhee looked up from sticking his nose on the book on his hands and adjusted his glasses to look at the guy clearly. "Oh, Dongju!" he smiled and gestured him to come to him.

Dongju smiled back and ran towards him, sitting on the empty seat of the table and placed him bag on his side. "Have you just finished your classes?"

"Yeah. Mr Kim also gave me some additional activities to finish that's why it took me quite a time to get out of the class." he honestly said and Keonhee gave him a concerned look.

"Don't you think he's giving you too much work to do? You've already finished the projects, right?"

Dongju nodded, "Yeah. But he said my work was bad so I got a low score. And he gave me these activities to do." he nudged his bag with his elbow.

The dark brown haired guy sighed worriedly for a second before smiling once again, "I can help you if you want." Dongju looked at him with eyes widened. "What? It's alright, I can handle myself... I don't want to bother you."

Keonhee rolls his eyes, "You always say you're fine when you're not. You're not bothering me, I still have free time later after I finish my math. I'll help you with your activities and let's study together before the exam." he told him and he stuffed his things on his bag.

Dongju watched him for a while before smiling with his eyes, getting watery for some reason. Nobody bothered to help him when he was struggling with things but now, somebody finally offered a small help to him. It really feels good to have a friend and he's thankful that he met Keonhee.

"Thank you, Keonhee..."

His friend let out a small laugh but immediately stopped when he saw Dongju's teary eyes. "You're wel— why are you crying? Are you hurt somewhere?" Keonhee asked him and he shook his head, wiping off his tears that fell down his cheeks.

"No, I'm just happy. That's all."

"Huh? So you're tearing up with joy? What are you even happy with?"

"I'm glad you became my friend..."

Both Keonhee and Dongju studied together for days before the day of the periodical exam came. Dongju had improved a lot from just gaining average scores on his activities to getting an ace. In fact, he even got a perfect score on the exam.

His teachers and classmates noticed this but they didn't give any shit about it first until...

While Dongju's class on math was still ongoing, the door of the classroom suddenly opened, revealing the principal and director of the school himself. "Good afternoon, Mr Kim." the teacher immediately greeted him.

"I need to talk to your students, Mr Nam." he said with his low toned voice that sounded angry and serious.

"Ah y-yes, sir." Mr Nam stepped aside and let the principal took place of the front so the students will pay attention to him even though they already were.

"During the exam, we expected you all to be honest in answering the questions and problems given to you all. Even if you don't know what to answer on them, that doesn't mean that you should cheat only for you to have something to fill in the blanks." he started, looking around the room and his eyes landed on Dongju.

The young man was shocked when he looked at him but tried his best to remain calm even though his stare was so intimidating and scary. "I want all those students here who got a perfect score from the exam to come to my office at this instant." he said and walked out of the room.

Dongju and a few more students stood up from their seats and obediently made their way to the place where the principal wanted them to go. Dongju didn't know why but he had a bad feeling for this.

"I ask you again one last time, Mr Son... Did you cheat during the exam?" the principal asked him with his arms crossed on his chest. Moments ago, they were all asked the same question and of course, everyone said no.

Unfortunately, he didn't believe Dongju at all.

"No, sir. I swear, I didn't cheat. I answered my exam papers on my own." he honestly said.

Still, the old man wore that unconvinced look on his face and instructed his secretary to collect all the bags of the students that he invited to his office and bring them there.

Once the bags were all placed on top of his desk, he started checking what's inside of them. "The answer keys that was hidden here at my office suddenly disappeared and I just knew it after the exams were over. Then an honest student told me that one of you stole it." he closed and placed some bags aside until it was only Dongju's bag left.

After a moment of searching inside the bag, principal found a paper that was sticking out on one of Dongju's notebooks and he took it out. Opening the paper, he scoffed and laughed sarcastically. "Mr Son, you told me, you never cheated but what's it, huh?" he shows him the paper on his hand but even his classmates saw what it is.

The answer keys.

They gasped in surprise just like Dongju who was completely shocked that he had the paper on his bag. "S-sir, that's not mine. I didn't steal anything—"

"Tell me, Mr Son. Who's bag is this? It's yours, right? And I found these answer keys in your bag. It's clear that you're the one who stole them so you don't have to deny it." he glares at him as Dongju's eyes started to water.

"But I really didn't steal them..."
