Chapter 20-Flying on a plane

Ken reads a newspaper about the great flight for free. He snips in out of the paper before he can fill in the blanks. After he fills the first blank. He first go to his son's room to tell about the flight. When his son tells him to show the details about the first flight. He goes down stairs to get the paper before giving it to him.

"Okay. What flight is going to be?" Ice said after his father show it to him.

"Anything son." His father replied.

"You mean we can go anywhere?"

"Yes. Just tell me what the location can we go for free then, we'll go."

"Okay."

Ice searches for a location on the Internet and he found the exact location that they will be going. It's Las Vegas. He marks the flight on the paper after his father place Ice on the second blank. He then, puts it at the mailbox to get the waiting.

3 days later. The letter has arrived so they are now ready to get the flight by first heading to the airport to check themselves in.

At the flight security. He first put his bag at conveyer belt to scan the bags via the security computer. During the X-Ray scanner Ken moves slowly because he thinks that he will be arrested. When he enters the scanner the alarm is not sounded. So he moves aside to wait for his son to get scanned.

When his son just moved one step closer to the scanner.The alarm sounded so which means that there is metal materials on his pocket.

"Will you place any metal materials on this box before you can go to the waiting area?" The officer said.

"Okay." He puts all the metal materials on the box then, head back to the scanner for the final check.

The alarm has sounded causing him to go back to the box to drop any metal pieces but, he doesn't have anything. So the guard has to do is to pull his teeth off so that this won't happen again.

While waiting for the flight. Ice uses his phone to message his friends about going to Los Angeles. He reads the message of Carrie because she is the one who message first at the messenger app.

The message is written: We'll be waiting for you at the bus at Las Vegas. See you there.

His father exclaimed after he shows the message to his father.

"Sorry Dad," Ice said apologizing, "I was a bit nervous about telling my friends about it."

"It's alright," His father replied, "As soon as not to tell any of your friends about it. Just one friend only."

"Okay."

When their flight is been called. They get in line and head to the plane for their seats.

"Okay, this is the captain speaking," The pilot said, "We'll be taking off for a few minutes. So fasten your seatbelt and no calling or texting on to your cellphones until the flights has completely taken off."

"What?!" Ken exclaimed, "Mam, how much is the flight will take?" He said to the cabin crew in frustration.

"Sir," The cabin crew replied, "It will take 50 minutes for the flight. So for your information. Please seat back and relax so that you may enjoy the ride."

"Oh no." He gets anxious completely.

"Dad," His son said, "This is part of the plan. Just calm down and enjoy the view."

"For 50 minutes?" He replied in complete anxious, "Are you nuts?! I cannot text, I cannot call. What else am I going to do?"

"All you have to do is to do nothing until we arrive at Los Angeles."

"Oh no."

"This is your captain speaking," The pilot said before he grabs the wheel to prepare for take-off, "We are now ready for take-off."

The engines of the plane starts turning before the plane takes-off because energy is required for the plane to take-off if it doesn't have power then, the plane won't get to the exact location and land somewhere else instead with a crash.

After the engines had been powered up. The pilot lifts the wheel up in order to do the take-off method.

After the take-off. The pilot grabs the mike to announce the take-off has been completed but, they have to remain in seatbelt just in case that the flight is in turbulence mode.

While waiting for the landing. Ice takes his PC to continue his work after he put the table on someone's back seat down.

The flight crew is serving different kinds of food to the customer. When she serves it to Ice. He puts away the computer and eat his dinner first. But, for his father. He puts down the table to get ready for his food time.

The flight is doing great. When his father is heading to the bathroom. He sees that all of the toilet doors are been completely occupied.

When the person got out of the toilet room. He enters it quickly before someone else has took it. After his time at the toilet. He puts the tissue on the bowl then, presses the button to flush it. When he presses the button. The plane starts to collapse. He immediately get the paper that he used then, put it on the trash can.

Exiting at the bathroom. The passengers got mad at him on what he did to the plane.

"So how's the toilet?" Ice said after his father seat beside him

"It's fine son. Everything's fine." His father replied.

"And also I heard that the plane went down earlier."

"What?! How did you know?!"

"Did you did something terrible dad?!"

"Actually... No."

"Okay."

During the flight. The plane's propeller's is not working causing the plane to get in turbulence. When Ice heard this. He puts his computer back at the PC case then, stowed his table before he use his headphones to listen to different kinds of music.

The plane's wings disappear after they got hit on the mountains causing the plane to crash down immediately and at last they land on Las Vegas.

"This is the cabin speaking," The captain said after they crashed on Las Vegas airport, "We apologize for the crash but, at least. We landed on our exact destination."

Ken and his son get their thinks before they head in to Las Vegas airport to get their baggages at the luggage area.

When he and his father exit at the airport. He sees Carrie and his sister smiling and joking because they ride to Las Vegas via bus. They had all the fun at the country by playing some of the arcades for the kids while his father gambles at the casino for 5 days because they have to head back home right after the required days to stay at Las Vegas.
