Chapter 44-Think before doing the task

Carrie and her sister are having a training in the fire safety and health department. The other students did a great job on doing the task.

"Okay girls," The coach said, "It's your turn to rescue those people that who are in trouble."

The girls head into the training station for the action. Carrie finds the person who is in trouble while avoiding the fire. Jacquai takes the fire extinguisher to put out the fire. After they finish the task. The coach comes in to check the inside after he tells the girls on what time they finished.

"Carrie, Jacquai." The coach calling them.

"Yes." The girls replied at the same time.

"Have a look on what you did."

"Okay."

The girls take a look on their progress and it turns out that the girls did a great job on doing the activity but, the coach asked them that it is a failing grade.

During their lunch break. The girls are not satisfied on what they had done on the evacuation plan activity.

"It's okay Carrie," Sugi said worrying, "Nobody's perfect. As soon as possible. You did a great job on doing the task."

"I know Sugi," Carrie replied angrily, "But, this isn't fair. The coach is suppose to give us a high grade instead of a low grade."

"I know that your angry but, you have to let go of it."

"Okay."

"So," Ice said questioning, "What is your task on the activity last time?"

"The activity during our last PE session is Fire and Safety Procedures." Jacquai replied.

"I see why your sister is upset. You need to think of a safety plan first before you do the action."

"Then, how is that going to do that to us?"

"Look at the bright side. What can you see their." He points at the direction on the ceiling.

"The lamp attached on the ceiling."

"Then, what does it symbols us."

"The light."

"There are also other symbols that you can say there too."

"What does that suppose to mean?"

"Then, say it."

"Fire."

"See... Then, that's what you're afraid of. You are not using your critical thinking about the fire safety and the evacuation plan."

"I see... I'll have to think first then, do the task as is."

"Yes. Or the people on the city will be in big trouble."

"Okay. I will not forget that."

The school bell rings just in time for the next class session. They all head back to their respective classrooms to prepare for the next subject.

In Patricia's class. She is taking the lesson about the area and the perimeter lesson at the math subject. While the teacher is discussing. She takes note on what the teacher is talking about before writing it down on the paper without the teacher's notice.

When class is dismissed. Patricia gives the paper to Carrie about the area and perimeter lesson so that they can know about the evacuation plan during the upcoming disaster drill.

"Patricia," Jacquai giving back the paper, "We know this already. So keep it."

Ice is not satisfied on Jacquai's action because it is also the plan on how to prevent the disasters during the dangerous trips.

The next morning. The school sound the alarm while they are having a class session because there is a fire at the school. All the students has to evacuate immediately before they all did something horrible at the building.

When Carrie and Jacquai are moving out of the building. He sees some of the kids needing help. She takes the people out of here while her sister gets the fire extinguisher from the emergency box by smashing first the glass before getting the fire extinguisher and putting out the fire.

While Carrie is getting the younger kids out of the school. The ceiling fall down from the top causing the kids to get injured.

"Hey kids," The teacher said worrying, "Are you okay?"

The kids we're in bad shape causing for them to be sent to the hospital.

After the fire has been went out. The coach smiled at the girls while they are completely upset about it.

Carrie and her sister visit the younger kids at the hospital to check how they are doing but, the nurse told them that they are not allowed to visit them during the surgery period.

"Why?" Jacquai said questioning.

"I'm sorry for your inconvenient girls," The nurse replied, "You may have to wait at the lobby until their surgery is complete."

"I see..." Carrie replied back to the nurse first before they head to the sit's lobby to wait for the patient to come out.

When the surgery is complete. Carrie and her sister follows the children's bed leading to the patients room. They talk to the kids in their respective beds about courage and determination. They also apologizes on what happened during the last fire drill. And they said that she will not let that happen again as them.

Back at the school. Carrie and Jacquai saw a red barrel standing at the school hallway. When they take a peek at it. It's a fire explosive material. Which means when they try to get the people out of here first without putting the fire. The whole school building will explode and all the people while evacuating will die.

"Carrie, Jacquai." The coach said.

"What is it?" The girls turned at him at the same time.

"You did the right thing."

"How did you know that?" Carrie replied back questioning.

"Look. If you made the right choice first then everything is safe. You need to learn how to sacrifice others. Or else the most hazards will be the ones coming your way. So think about it before doing the action. Okay."

"Okay."

"I understand."

The girls replied back to him as clear information and the lesson to remember.

They hear the school bell ringing. So they need to head back to class for their quiz time in the science class. While coach heads back to the gym for the next students who will be taking their PE class.
