Chapter 24-Carsick

Ken is driving his son home from school this morning because he a flu whole having a history class at the classroom. The car's engine is getting worst causing him to get much sicker while waiting for his father to drop him home.

"Dad," Ice said coughing, "The car is in bad shape."

"Yeah," His father replied, "I know son."

"So when did the car cause a terrible engine sound?"

"I don't know son. As soon as we get home. You get some rest and I'll have the car fixed in no time."

Back at the house. Ice goes directly to his bed after he change his clothes while his father gets his tools to fix the car in good shape.

After 2 days of his son's rest. He sees his father at the garage because the car is not doing very good.

"Hi dad." His son goes in front of him causing for him to gasp while doing some repairs underneath the car.

"Woah," He exclaimed in front of his son that he feels a lot more better than yesterday and the other day before, "You feel a 100% better."

"Yeah I know Dad. So how's the car doing?"

"I think I'm still fixing the car because it's not completely fixed yet."

"Dad, is there something wrong about you?"

"I'm fine son, but, I'm just a little bit tired." He knocks on the wheel board causing it to roll on it's own with Ice exclaiming before catching up.

Several house owner's we're shocked when they see Ken sleeping on the rolling wheel board. He wakes up on time and he exclaims that he is going to jump on the pool by passing through the dive board.

Ice stops his tracks when he sees his father splashing on the pool of water.

"Dad," He checks his father's temperature by touching the forehead. It turns out that his father is in a bad shape.

He brings his father back at the house to give him time to rest at the bed.

"Thanks, son." He praised his son happily.

"Your welcome, Dad," He replied, "So why do you need to get the car fixed?"

"Actually son, the car show's event helds tomorrow. So I need to get things ready."

"Oh... I see... What you are talking about. You want to get the car fixed just to get the car to the show."

His father nods a yes.

"Okay, so why don't I do the honors while you do the resting."

"Okay. That's a deal since you are a genius in creating different kinds of electronic gadgets."

"Yup. You can count on me dad."

"Okay." He leaves his father's room and do the job

"But, one more thing before I leave," He mentions something, "Can I invite my friends at my house today?"

"Sure, but, as soon as possible. Get the car fixed."

"Okay." He leaves his father's room once more and to do the job immediately.

The first thing that he has to do before getting the car fixed is by checking the loudly engined car at the garage after he puts some of the safety gears around his face and body just to make sure that he doesn't get sick. After he checks the car. He goes to his room to call his friends on the phone before he reads the instructions about how to get the car's engine fixed.

10 minutes later. Ice's friends arrive at his front door. He gets the door opened before heading to the room for the discussion.

"So," Carrie said questioning to him, "Why did you bring us all the way here?"
