It's a beautiful sunny day, you're in the middle of a grass field, watching the clouds flow freely into the sky. You're about to fall asleep, but you got distracted by the voice of someone screaming and laughing.
You sit up and see two little boys playing tag, throwing patches of grass at eachother. The weird thing is you can't see their faces, It's covered by a black shadow.
"Come play with us, Y/N!"
You wake up to the sound of your mother screaming outside of your room.
"Y/N! You're gonna miss your flight! Get your lazy ass up!"
You sighed.
"Mom! I was having a nice dream!"
"Do you think I care? Get ready so I can drive you to the airport!"
You were annoyed, but you still got up. You put on a red hoodie and grey sweatpants.
As you walk into your dining room, you're greeted with the smell of eggs and bacon. Delicious! You munch on your breakfast happily.
"Well at least you made me a scrumptious meal." you mentioned.
Your mom rolled her eyes, she got up and went outside to start the car.
You brushed your teeth and double checked if you had everything packed. Pepper spray, books, clothes, shoes, and some jewelry. You were determined you've packed everything.
You zipped up your luggage and hopped into your car. The car started, and now you were on the way to the airport.
"What were you possibly dreaming of?" your mom asked.
The dream was a blur, but you could remember parts of It.
"I was on some hill? Oh! I could also see two boys playing tag!" you answered.
Your moms eyes slightly widen, It looked like she just remembered something important. She zoned out.
"Oh, interesting." she replied.
Your mom then continued to drive. You thought of it as nothing.
After 28 minutes, you arrive at the airport. You walk to the waiting area and took a seat.
"A few more minutes till you can go, finally." your mother laughed.
"Mom!" you weeped jokingly.
You were excited to go to California to study law, but your smile slowly turned into a frown. You realized you had a huge student loan to pay. How could you pay that much money?!
You're about to doze off, but you notice people standing up and heading to your flight. You and your mom both stand up and you hug her goodbye.
"I'll miss you mom!"
You walk into the small plane and settled down. You then started to drift off into sleep.
