Chapter 15

-Chapter Fifteen-

"What do you mean 'what the hell was that about?" Caesar asked bluntly, raising an eyebrow at the Brit

"Why'd you tell Suzi Q I have social anxiety? And why wouldn't you let me speak to her?" Joseph asked, glaring at Caesar who glared back but quickly changed his expression back to a blunt one

"She's annoying-"

"You're annoying but I still talk to you-"

"Same goes to you,"

"Hey!" Joseph whined, walking forward down the street with Caesar as they began to get close to Joseph's house. Well, mansion.

"Un tale deficiente .." Caesar muttered, pinching the top of his nose in between his eyes. He followed after Joseph and tugged on his coat, "Warm enough?" He asked, making Joseph look back at him and nod his head, his cheeks a slight pink colour.

"Yeah, thank you, are you cold yet?" JoJo asked, staring at Caesar as he shuffled his feet along, his hands stuffed in Caesar's coat pockets

"I-I'm fine-"

"Lies. You're shivering. Good thing is, my house is right here so-"

"I'm not going inside your house-"

"Um yes your are-"

"No I'm no-"

"Yes y-"

"No i-"

"Yes-"

"No-"

"Y-"

"No-"

"YES. I say you are and that's final, okay, Italiana?" Joseph said, putting his foot down as he tugged on Caesar's arm

"I'm an Italiano but okay,"

"Shhh! Just keep going, look, we're here now," Joseph muttered, pressing the doorbell

"Yeah, I can see that," Caesar, folded his arms across his chest and stared at the door, surprised when it was opened so suddenly by a girl with black and green hair in space buns with plaits, seeing Joseph greet her so happily

"Hi Jolyne! Do you mind if my friend, Caesar comes in with us tonight?" JoJo asked sheepishly, receiving raised eyebrows from Jolyne

"It's not up to me, dad's out tonight so Jonathan's in charge, but he'd probably say yes anyways, he's too much of a wimp to say no," She muttered, opening the door and Joseph thanked her and stepped inside, tugging Caesar in who quickly slapped the younger boys hand away from him

"I don't need help entering a house, Joseph, mama mia.." Caesar muttered, seeing how Joseph's back was facing him. He put his head on the boys shoulder and unbuttoned his coat from behind the Brit, his arms wrapped around his waist. He slid it off of Joseph's shoulders and hanging it up. Jolyne had left so he assumed they were alone, but apparently not as when he turned around, he saw Josuke staring at him with raised eyebrows and a smirk on his face.

"Thank you Caesar- oh. Hey, Josuke," Joseph said, smiling at the boy in front of him who waved back

"Hey, I see you bought a guest over?" He said, making Joseph nod his head, Caesar's face had flushed red and he nibbled the inside of his cheek, making Josuke chuckle and ruffle Caesar's blonde hair

"Josuke, I will mess up your own hair if you mess up mine again," Caesar muttered, making Josuke back up and raise his hands in defense

"Yeah, and if you do that, I'll kill you-"

"See, this is why we're friends. I get you so well!" Caesar muttered, smiling softly as he wrapped an arm around, Josuke who laughed and wrapped his own arm around Caesar's. Joseph was staring at the two with a blank expression, not sure what was going on until Josuke pushed Caesar back towards him

"Okay, I'm gonna let you make out with my older brother, Joseph, now-"

"MAKE OUT?!" Caesar and Joseph chorused, staring at each other with wide eyes and red faces. They shook their heads and walked together into the front room where they saw Jotaro and Jonathan playing uno, by the looks of it, Jonathan was about to win as he had his last card.

"What-"

"Shhh, this'll be fun," Joseph interrupted Caesar, they were behind Jotaro's back, leaning on the couch to see what would happen as Joseph expected Jotaro to start raging.

Jonathan's last card was put onto the pile, it was a blue number 8 that was placed on a blue number 2

"I win-"

"QUIET YOU BASTARD. REMATCH." Jotaro yelled, shoving all of the cards off of the table in anger as Jonathan's eyes widened, making him laugh nervously and nod his head

"Okay, Jotaro, but can you calm down, it's not like a gentleman to-"

"Yare yare daze.." Jotaro muttered, starting to shuffle out a new deck of cards between the two as Joseph smiled at Caesar, trying to hold back a laugh as even Caesar had a small smile ghosted across his lips.
