Chapter 29

-Chapter Twenty Nine-

Jonathan scurried into the bus and smiled brightly at Dio, the others just stared in surprise and confusion. What the heck just happened.

"You made sure your suitcase was packed, right?" Jonathan asked the blonde boy, raising an eyebrow as the others slowly got on the bus, eyeing the other two.

"Of course I did, how could I forget?" Dio smiled and patted Jonathan's head playfully, seeing the eye bags under his eyes, "Have you been overworking yourself again? You seem stressed.."

"Oh, maybe-"

"I don't want you dealing with these fools' childish behaviour then on this camping trip, I'll be in charge of any funny business," Dio pulled Jonathan close to him so the others couldn't see and gave him a friendly hug, patting his back

"Okay, okay, I'll sit down now, thank you," Jonathan huffed, pulling away from the hug as he went to sit next to Jolyne who had her feet up on the seat in front of her, a newspaper in her hands that hid her face

The bus started to move forward now and Jotaro had his hat tilted down, eyeing Kakyoin who stared out the window with a cherry in his mouth.

And finally, Joseph was sitting next to Caesar, poking his cheek out of boredom

"Caesar-Chan, you're excited, aren't you?" He ruffled the blonde boys hair and saw him squirm away

"I'm not excited! I'm just... Whatever," Caesar mumbled, rolling his eyes at Joseph as he slapped his hand away gently, "Stupid.." He huffed, watching Jojo raise an eyebrow

"You looked excited earl-"

"I'm not! Just shut up," Caesar shot Joseph a glare, making the other boy scoff

"Yeah? Make me."

Around just 40 minutes later, the 7 of them hopped off of the bus, Caesar's face completely red as he seemed pretty dopey. Joseph had been teasing him the whole ride there because of how flustered the Italian was when Joseph told him to make him shut up.

"Awww, is wittle Zeppeli embarrassed?" Jospeh pinched Caesar's cheek and felt his hand get pushed away

"I'm. Not." He mumbled, folding his arms over his chest as he walked alongside the others, walking to wherever the campsite was.

"Mhm, sure. Jotaro, is Kakyoin alright there?"

Kakyoin was flopped over Jotaro's shoulder, laying there limply. He seemed unconscious, and Jotaro's hand was on the cherry-boys back, holding him in place

"He was asleep in the bus.. I didn't want to wake him..." Jotaro said quietly, his cheeks pink. He would've carried Kakyoin more gently but it was embarrassing around his siblings.

"See, Caesar, you should carry me-"

"In your dreams. I should be the one being carried, I'm the superior one," Caesar huffed and shrugged, walking with pride before feeling Joseph's arms wrap around his waist, "H-huh?! What're you doing!"

The blonde was lifted up and he let out a little yelp, squirming around as he was raised up and put on Joseph's shoulders, sitting on the bag on his back as well, "J-JoJo!"

"There. Now stop complaining, you big baby," Joseph pulled Caesar's bag along as he held him on his shoulders.

Dio kept staring at Jonathan, making sure his best friend was okay, whereas Jolyne was leading the group in the front, looking down at the map as she lifted her hat on her head that she bought at the store. It was a camo hat that matched her camo cropped jacket she decided to wear to this trip.

"I-i didn't actually mean for you to carry me, you moron!"

"Well I am now, if you're lucky then I'll let you have my tent to sleep in tonight instead of outside. You didn't bring one, right?" Joseph cocked a brow and tilted his head back to look into Caesar's eyes.

"W- I said I didn't have one so no, I didn't bring one!" Caesar grumbled, watching Joseph giggle at him and boop his nose, making him scrunch his face up and blush

"No worries, Caesarino, you can stay with me any time. I'll give you cuddles if you ask nicelyyyyy!" Joseph teased Caesar again, making the male nuzzle into his hair and whine in embarrassment, hiding the redness in his face.

"You're so embarrassing.." He murmured, hearing Joseph's laughter.. His laughter was so cute.. Wait what was he thinking?! Whatever!

"You know you love it,"

"You wish."
