Five sighs as he sat beside Y/n whose reading a book.

He tries to convinced himself that everything would be easy and he would just say sorry to her and walk away.

He breathes out as he faces Y/n who doesn't seem to notice him.

"Hey,can we just get along?"Five softly spoke as he looks at Y/n

Y/n kept on reading as she kept on reading,her hair covers the side of her face,she thought she heard something,but wave it off.

"Look,we literally live in the same house.And I don't really like fighting with you"Five added as he adjusted on his seat

"I like you okay!"Five exclaims and Y/n looked on her side to see Five

Taking her hearing aid from her pockets,she puts it on to hear Five better since without it,all she hear is his muffled voice.

"I'm sorry,did you say something?"Y/n asks

Five saw this and sigh in relief that she didn't hear what he said,and if she did,they're muffled.

"I said,dad is asking for you"Y/n then nodded and smiled as she thanked Five and walks away.

"You number eight!,you always disappoint me in every mission—"Sir.Reginald yells making Y/n look down on the floor

Five sees this and motioned for her to take off her hearing aid.

Y/n then nodded and took it off.

They smiled at eachother as Y/n can't hear anything else but the muffled voice of Reginald Hargreeves.

"Maybe we should teach you how to read lips"Five spoke up as he and Y/n sat on the rooftop staring at the city lights.

"Why?,I have my hearing aid..."Y/n mumbled

"Yeah,but you don't always have them.You can't rely on it"Five explains making Y/n nod

"Hey maybe,we can learn sign language together too?"Y/n asks and Five nodded

"So can you even hear anything?"a boy asked as he snapped his fingers on Y/n's ear

"I can hear,but its muffled if I don't have my hearing aid"Y/n explains as she tries to avoid the boy

"Can you sign language or read my lips?"the boy asked as he walks closer to Y/n taking off her hearing aid

"Stop—that's so disrespectful."Y/n yells as her hands form into a fist and a blue fire appeared

"I suggest to run,before she kills you"Five spoke up as he walks behind Y/n

The boy then nodded as he stumbles on his feet to run away.

"Hey guys?,I think we should go home.Dad will be furious if he found out we snuck out"Ben says as he holds the chips Klaus planned to buy.

"Its fine Ben,wait—"Y/n realized she just heared the muffled voice of Ben and she just read his lips

"The boy still have my hearing aid!"Y/n exclaims

"I got it"Five says as he spatial jumps

"I'll just go there"Y/n says as she pointed at the rubbles of a clothing store.

"Don't go too far away"Five signs to her and she nodded

"I have this anyway"Y/n shows him her hearing aid

"Rely on them,I know"Y/n smiles as Five sighs and nodded

Y/n started to walk around when she got too distracted and walks too far to the point she can't see their makeshift house.

"Five!?"She yelled she heard a muffled yelled too

She reached for her hearing aid on her pockets but her eyes widened when she didn't feel it in her pockets.

Panicking,she ran around to find it while yelling for Five's name at the same time.

"Five!?"

After a few minutes she doesn't hear his muffled yells anymore,the sky started to darken and she sat down in defeat.

Hugging her knees to her chest,she lay her head,closed her eyes and cried.

Suddenly she felt a presence and a muffled voice.

Raising her head up,she was filled with happiness when she saw Five,with a torch and a smile on his face.

"Five..."she mutters as she wraps her arms around his shoulders

"I thought I lost you"she cried

"I thought I lost you too"she read Five's lips

"I got something for you"Five says as he shows her,her hearing aid.

"Thank you Five,"

"Y/n can you stop reading and listen to me?"Five spoke up,placing his hands on his pockets as he stood infront of Y/n whose laying on the couch

Y/n smiles at him and took of her hearing aid.

"I know you can read my lips Y/n,"Five smirks

Y/n then closes her eyes and crosses her arms.

"Now I have no idea what you're talking about"Y/n stated as Five frustratedly sighs

"Y/n!,put your hearin aid back on!...Please?"Five spoke up as Y/n only hear his muffled voice
