The group of six weaved through the bustling city life. Each corner was crowded and many people showed no respect to those in their way.

Ilias was getting sick of having people ram into his shoulder. He swirled the lollipop in his mouth, a mischievous smirk making its way onto his face. As someone approached, he pulled the pop out of his mouth, twisting it between his fingers.

Just as he expected, the man slammed full force into his side, not even uttering an apology. In the midst of the collision, the lollipop grazed against his shoulder. A trail of nen-infused saliva left in its place. A sick sort of excitement began building in his mind.

Ilias continued skipping alongside the group until a terrified scream rang throughout the bustling streets. Everyone looked back to see the man on the ground, acting as if he was being tortured.

"I wonder what's going on with him," Ilias frowned, playing his innocent card. He knew exactly what was happening, everything the guy was seeing.

Eden, the women who was helping to guide them, looked back at him with a disapproving look. She had a suspicion as to what was happening, but she couldn't prove it. Her frustration grew when he looked at her, tilting his head, pouting.

Yue owlishly blinked. "Maybe he saw someone he doesn't like?" She sounded confused, trying to figure out what could've got into him. Usually, she would pride herself on her detective skills, but now she was stumped.

"It's nothing you should concern yourself with," The husbands butted in, "Your only goal should be following us and finishing the hunter exams. Whatever is going on with him is insignificant." He looked back at Ilias with a humorous look in his eyes.

Meanwhile, Killua was lost in thought, his vision trained on the pink-haired male. For just a moment, it felt as though he was walking next to Illumi. That malicious spike of aura was eerily familiar. As if his mind was being read, Ilias looked back at him with an apologetic expression.

"We're here!" Eden enthusiastically presented a small restaurant, "Let's go inside!"

She ushered them all in through the door and Luneth rushed to the counter, greeting the chef. He hopped on his heel, clapping his hands.

"Is da backwoom open?" He asked, practically shaking in excitement. Then he yanked his mom forward to finish the order.

The chef nodded, "What would you like?"

"The steak combo that opens your eyes to the light," She motioned back to the wannabe hunters, "For three."

"How would you like them done?"

"Grilled over a low flame until cooked."

The three had no idea what they were talking about but all came to the same conclusion. It wasn't hard to figure out that it was a secret code so that no random person could join the exams.

They were lead to a small room with a table in the center. The guides said their goodbyes and left the trio to themselves. Suddenly, there was a ringing noise and the room began moving downwards.

"Woah!" Ilias was amazed, "I didn't even realize it's an elevator!" He giggled. Yue shared the same astonishment.

Killua stared at them in silence. His mind and heart were still racing. Ever since the incident at the marketplace, he could only see Illumi when he looked at Ilias.

When the doors opened, they filed out of the room. A green bean-like human strolled over and gave them their badges. Ilias, #98; Killua, #99; Yue, #100.
