Chapter Fifteen

Mom:"I don't think so honey."
Me:"Oh.. well at least we saw him on Christmas!"
Mom:"Yes! Now, can you help me unpacking the groceries please?"
Me:"Sure!"

~We unpacked the groceries and I thought about the moment I saw Hana and her friend. I really wonder what she told her..~

Dad:"Okay, I'm here now!"-He said kissing my mom on the cheek-
Mom:"What was it for?"
Dad:"The call?"
Mom:"Huhu?"
Dad:"Well my brother Justin is still coming with his wife tomorrow but unfortunately Mark won't come because he'll celebrate with his girlfriend family."
Me:"I thought he was in a break with her..."
Dad:"I don't know.."
Mom:"At least The rest of the family is coming !"
Me:"Who will be there again?"
Mom:"My sister, Alexa and Taemin, uncle Justin and his wife, uncle Jackson, his wife and moonbyul."
Me:"Oh okay!"

[Tuesday: December 31th; 19h00]

-It's finally new year eve, and everyone is here.-
Alexa:"Cousins!!!"
Me:"Alex!!!!"
Moonbyul:"Heyy!!"
~We ran and hugged each other.~
Me:"Where's Taemin?"
Alexa:"I don't know.."
Taemin:"Hey!"
Me:"Hii!"
Moonbyul:"Hi!"
Taemin:"How are you guys?"
Moonbyul:"I'm good."
Me:"I'm good and you?"
Taemin:"I'm great! Long time no see!"
Us:"Yup!"
Auntie:"Y/n! Moonbyul! Hello !"
Me:"Hello auntie."
Moonbyul:"Hello.."
Auntie:"How are you doing huh? Do you have a boyfriend?"
Me:"No I don't.."
Auntie:"Oh, what year are you in again? Is this your prom year?"
Me:"Yes."
Auntie:"Wow already! Do you have a prom partner?"
Me:"Kind of."
Auntie:"Who is it?"
Me:"I- hum..a person from my school..."
Auntie:"Oh that's nice.. what's their name?"-Smile wildly, holding a glass of wine-
Me:"I don't want to say it..."
Auntie:"Oh okay, well I'll go back with the others then, bye bye !"
Me:"Bye !"
Moonbyul:"I totally forgot that it's your prom year!"
Me:"Yup."
Moonbyul:"Do you really have a partner?"
Taemin:"Or it was an escape from the question of my mom haha!"
Me:"Well actually, I received an anonymous invitation from a person that asked me to show in a red dress on proms day."
Alexa:"Do you have your dress?"
Me:"No not yet, it's a bit early haha. My mom wanted to go shopping for the dress around March or April."
Them:"Ohh ok!"

[Later: around 21h00]

-Mark is supposed to call us around 23h25. We already ate diner and now we are playing games.-

Taemin:"OHHHH!!!"
Moonbyul:"WE WON!!"
Me:"Omg !! *laugh* it's not fair ! How can we lost after what I did ?"
AleXa:"I - I don't - know !!"*laughing rolling on the floor*
~You're probably wondering what I did, well you see, we are playing a game on a console and I did a weird poses and I looked like a monkey, and now we are all laughing.~
Me:"I personally think my pose was the best *laugh*"
Alexa:"Hahahahahaah yes- hahahah-"*still on the floor*
Moonbyul:"This game is so fun!"
Taemin:"And we are the best team!"
Moonbyul:"YEAH!!"
~Me and Alexa were still rolling on the ground~
Auntie:"What are you guys doing?"
Taemin;"Oh hi mom!"
Moonbyul:"Hey auntie!"
Auntie:"Did they drink something or.."
Moonbyul:"Nope.."
Auntie:"Oh..hum alright.."
~And with that she left..~

[Later: 23h20]

Me:"Guys! Mark is supposed to call in 5 minutes!"
Moonbyul:"ok!"
~Mark did call us! We all talked together and wished each other a happy new year and then we hung up.~

[Countdown time]

Dad:"Everyone come here it's time!"
~Everyone gathered in the living room, all the adults had champagne while we (minor) had a non alcoholic drink.~
Everyone:"10!9!8!7!6!5!4!3!2!1!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!"
~We all hugged each other and again gave our wishes.~

[2 weeks later: Monday morning at school]

Yeji:"I wasn't ready to go back to school" -She said with a grumpy tone-
Me:"Me too"
~I said that as we walked towards our first class of the day, English.~

~When the bell rang for the second time, meaning the class will officially start, the teacher gave us a book. Some students were happy, some wasn't. I didn't know how to feel about this because I was still asleep mentally. I was just daydreaming about school being over for summer and I was craving coffee. And when I started daydreaming about my perfect vacation, the teacher started to speak.~

Mr.Minjun:"Hello everyone! It's good to see you guys again! I hope y'all had a great time during your break. I personally had a great time with my family. Anyway, today you will start a new book. You are supposed to have one on your desk. Does anyone want to read the back of the book?"
~Hana raised her hands obviously.~
Mr.Minjun:"Hana? Okay you can start."
~Hana gave her "I won look" towards her friend~
Hana:"In this story, two person will meet for the first time at a special events. One of them sent the other person an invitation..."
~she continued reading but I was already in my thought. This resume reminds me of the invitation to the prom I was gave. I wonder if it's someone I see daily....~

[After English class- science class]

Yeji:"Oh no...."
Me:"what?"
Yeji:"I think we start this new project in science today."
Me:"Oh no..."
Yeji:"I hope we will be together!"
Me:"And I hope not!"
~I said in a joking tone, walking fast as I could.~
Yeji:"Aw why?"
Me:"Because the last time we were together you-"
~As I looked towards Yeji while walking, I didn't have time to notice I was about to bump into someone.~
